Abstract:
A norbornene-based resin molded article obtained by bulk polymerizing a norbornene-based monomer in a mold; wherein said norbornene-based resin molded article is characterized by comprising a hybrid filler obtained by high-speed mixing the two or more kinds of fillers in dry method. Preferably, said hybrid filler is obtained by high-speed mixing, at least a fibrous filler having 5 to 100 aspect ratio and a particulate filler having 1 to 2 aspect ratio, in dry method. The present invention provides the norbornene-based resin molded article superior in rigidity and dimensional stability; and the method of production thereof.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate deflection of a floor panel itself obtained after being subjected to heating-cooling processing at the time of integral molding. SOLUTION: There are provided a floor panel structure of a prefabricated bath, and a method of producing the same. According to the method, a substrate 22 made of a dicyclopentadiene resin is molded such that ribs 31 are protruded downward from a bottom floor like a lattice, that a groove 34 is formed in the ribs 31 at least along a longitudinal direction, and that at least one projection 44 projecting downward is arranged in the vicinity of the center of the groove 34. Then the molded substrate 22 is pinched by an upper mold 72 and a lower mold 71, and a thermoplastic resin is filled into a gap 75 between the lower mold 71 and a surface of the substrate 22, to thereby laminate a design material 23 made of the thermoplastic resin on the surface of the substrate 22, in one body. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite molded article which has both of design properties and rigidity, is enhanced in the adhesiveness of respective layers constituting the composite molded article, is excellent in moldability and is effectively prevented from the occurrence of sink or warpage. SOLUTION: The composite molded article comprises a laminate of an artificial marble layer and a reinforcing layer formed through a norbornene resin layer. Preferably, the norbornene resin layer is a layer comprising a norbornene resin molded object produced by subjecting a norbornene monomer to bulk polymerization in a mold. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite molded body which has an improved adhesive force between a ring-opening bulk polymer of norbornene-based monomer and a compounding member and does not cause degradation of the adhesive force due to reaction heat in the composite molded body made by integrally molding the polymer obtained by causing norbornene-based monomer to undergo ring-opening bulk polymerization and the compounding member. SOLUTION: The composite molded body prepared by integrally molding the polymer obtained by causing the norbornene-based monomer to undergo ring-opening bulk polymerization, and the compounding member is characterized by having a coated film formed by subjecting at least a part of contact interface with the polymer to surface treatment with a prescribed triazine-thiol derivative. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blending liquid for reaction injection molding, which is the blended liquid for performing the bulk polymerization of a norbornene-based monomer in a mold and then reaction injection molding, without reducing flowability at a low temperature and capable of obtaining an article having less surface sink. SOLUTION: This blending liquid for performing the bulk polymerization of the norbornene-based monomer in the mold and then reaction injection molding is characterized by containing the norbornene-based monomer, an olefin-based elastomer having ≥60 wt.% propylene unit content and an aromatic hydrocarbon resin. The method for producing the reaction injection-molded article by using the blended liquid and the reaction injection-molded article produced by the above production method are also provided. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin molded form of high dimensional stability, to provide a method for producing the resin molded form without causing nozzle port cloggings of the molding machine in its molding, and to provide a reaction stock solution good in storage stability and to be suitably used in the above method. SOLUTION: The norbornene-based resin molded form is obtained by mass polymerization of the corresponding norbornene-based monomer in a mold. This resin molded form contains calcium carbonate 5-100 in aspect ratio, wherein the average major axis of the calcium carbonate (particles) is preferably 5-500 μm.
