Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for opening or closing a battery installation part of a vehicle upper part exchange type battery capable of easing an opening or closing operation, minimizing an operation time for exchanging batteries, and blocking inflow of rainwater or abnormal materials into a space where the battery is positioned by employing a slidable cover for opening or closing a portion where the battery installation part is arranged. For this, the present invention provides the apparatus for opening or closing the battery installation part of the vehicle upper part exchange type battery, having a structure in which the battery installation part is installed at the upper part of the vehicle to make possible exchanging the batteries. The apparatus comprises a pair of guide rails installed in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle on both sides of a portion, where the battery installation part is positioned, on the upper surface of an outer roof panel forming the ceiling of the vehicle; a battery cover formed in a box shape whose bottom is open to cover a portion where the battery installation part protrudes, and installed movable in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle by being supported by the pair of guide rails; and a blocking film installed along the circumference of the battery cover for covering a gap between the battery cover and the guide rails.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a tow-type automatic battery changing system for electric vehicles and, more particularly, to a two-type automatic battery changing system for electric vehicles of which the durability and stability are improved and capable of stably changing a battery for electric vehicles.
