Abstract: PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing black waxy rice extract is provided to ensure excellent anti-wrinkling and skin whitening. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for anti-wrinkling and skin whitening contains 0.01-10 wt% of black waxy rice extract as an active ingredient. The extract is prepared using water, ethanol, methanol, or ethyl acetate. The extract contains anthocyanine, amylo pectin, GABA, gamma-oryzanol, proteins, fat and fatty acid, inorganic ingredients, amino acids, saccharides, and vitamins.
