    Abstract: Some embodiments of this disclosure include apparatuses and methods for uplink panel selection with power saving. In some embodiments, user equipment (UE) may experience a positional change. In response, the UE may deactivate a first communication panel to save power and activate a second communication panel. The UE may then transmit a status message to a communication node indicating the activation and/or deactivation. The node may then register this activation and/or deactivation. In some embodiments, the node may monitor uplink slots from the first and second communication panel to identify the activation and deactivation. For example, if the node detects an absence of an uplink signal within a slot threshold, the node may identify the panel as being deactivated. The node may establishing communications with another panel based on a detected signal and/or the status message.

    Abstract: Serving cell measurements at a reduced capability UE in idle mode in FR1 includes identifying an eDRX cycle length associated with the reduced capability UE is longer than or equal to 20.48s and shorter than or equal to 10, 485.76s. The eDRX cycle length includes a DRX cycle length. A measurement period associated with a serving cell of the reduced capability UE is determined to occur within a single PTW of the eDRX cycle. The measurement period includes measurement samples to be performed within the single PTW. A length of the single PTW is determined based on a product of the DRX cycle length and a sample scaling factor associated with the measurement samples. The length of the single PTW comprises a multiple of 1.28. Serving cell measurements are performed during the single PTW. The serving cell measurements include each of the measurement samples associated with the measurement period.

    Abstract: Systems and methods provide for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) monitoring adaptation. A user equipment (UE) may monitor a default search space set group (SSSG) for downlink control information (DCI) from a base station in the PDCCH. In response to a first DCI trigger, the UE switches from monitoring the default SSSG to monitoring a first non-default SSSG associated with a first timer. In response to a second DCI trigger, the UE switches from monitoring the first non-default SSSG to monitoring a second non-default SSSG associated with a second timer. The first non-default SSSG may be a non-empty SSSG including a search space set with at least one associated search space. The second non-default SSSG may be an empty SSSG with no associated search space to emulate PDCCH skipping.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) reliability enhancement. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a processor of a UE receives, from a BS associated with a first TRP and a second TRP, a first message for configuring a PUCCH resource to be used by the UE to perform a PUCCH transmission with the BS. In this case, the first message indicates a first configuration corresponding to the first TRP and the first configuration comprises at least one power control parameter associated with the first TRP. The message further indicates a second configuration corresponding to the second TRP and the second configuration comprises at least one power control parameter associated with the second TRP. The processor performs the PUCCH transmission with the BS via the first and second TRPs based on the first message. In this way, the reliability and robustness of the PUCCH transmission for multiple TRP is enhanced.
