    SOLUTION: A load to the supporting part 26 is reduced and deformation of the supporting part 26 is restrained since slitting 30 of a leg part 28 opens from the outside in the tire widthwise direction and bending deforming quantity to the inside of the leg part 28 increases when fitting a support body 16 on a rim 12. Additionally, opening deformation at the slitting 30 on the leg part 28 is restrained since force is applied in a direction where the slitting 30 closes for the leg part 28 by work of car weight at the time of runflat travelling.

    SOLUTION: The pneumatic run-flat tire 10 consists of the rim 12, the pneumatic tire 14, and a support body 16. The support body 16 is equipped with a support part 26 formed with a plate, and a rubber made leg part 28. A cover member 32 is fixedly provided on the inner peripheral surface of the support part 26 to compose a sub air chamber 34. The subsidiary air chamber 34 is divided into a plurality of small subsidiary air chambers 34A in a circumferential direction with partition walls 37. One communication hole 38 is formed with respect to respective small subsidiary air chambers 34A on the support part 26, and the small subsidiary air chamber 34A and the communication hole 38 compose a Helmholtz resonant absorber reducing tire noise. Since leg parts 28 at the both ends are formed with an elastic body, the support body 16 can be assembled to the general rim 12 along with the pneumatic tire 14 in the same procedure as a rim assembly of the pneumatic tire 14.
