CONSTITUTION:An octa-4,5-phenylphthalocyanine or its metallic complex and an anthraquinone coloring matter are deposited by the vacuum deposition method to form a coloring matter layer 3 on the surface of a substrate 1 provided with a resist pattern. This substrate provided with the coloring matter layer 3 is immersed in a solvent for the purpose of removing a resist pattern 2 under the coloring matter layer. Thus, a green coloring matter layer 4 having a stripe pattern in formed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a filter which is free from contamination of a base plate by a patterning mask and a damage on a dye layer by pressing the mask to the base plate while maintaining the slight space to the extent of avoiding spreading of the dye deposited by evaporation to the surface on the base plate on which the fine color filter is formed. CONSTITUTION:Pins 5 for positioning to a base plate 9 consisting of glass, resin film, etc. are provided to a projecting part 4 delineating the outside circumference of a patterning mask 1 in the stage of forming a fine color filter having a desired shape on the base plate 9. A recess 2 is formed in the part on the plate 9 corresponding to the surface on which a dye film is to be formed. Patterning holes 3 meeting the shape of the dye film are provided in the recess 2. The depth of the recess 2 is made 5-50mu, more preferably 10-30mu and the thickness of the mask 1 is made 200-500mu. A narrow space is provided to avoid spreading of the dye deposited by evaporation to the part between the plate 9 and the mask 1 in the part where the colored film is formed so that the damage and contamination of the dye film by the mask 1, blurring of the dye, etc. are prevented.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of a crack or break of a joint portion of an exhaust pipe or a flat vessel, by providing vacuum air-tightness, allowing three- dimensional deformation, and restraining stress applied through a connecting portion to less than a tolerant stress when insides of the exhaust pipe and an enclosure are vacuum. SOLUTION: A previously produced enclosure 101 is installed in a stage 102, and an exhaust pipe 103 is coupled with an exhaust pipe connecting portion 104. In this case, a bellows 105 is previously fixed at a position where it has a natural shape during vacuum time not to press up the enclosure 101 with an expansion force of a spring 106. Then, the inside of the enclosure 101 is exhausted to vacuum by an exhaust system 109. In a heating and degassing process, it is heated by electric heaters at the stage 102 and in a baking cover 108, and is exhausted by the exhaust system 109. When the enclosure 101 thermally expands, the exhaust pipe 103 moves. But, the bellows 105 and the spring 106 absorb the movement, and stresses applied to the exhaust pipe 103 and the envelope 101 are less than a tolerance.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an image display device superior in image display characteristics at a low cost by performing temperature regulation during a current-carrying process in manufacturing the image display device, so as to improve element characteristics and by reducing the time required for a high- temperature heating process. SOLUTION: In various processes wherein heating is required for a vacuum container, for instance, a current-carrying forming process and a stabilizing (a high-temperature heating) process, the processes are implemented by heating the vacuum container by the use of a face heater 102 and a rear heater 101, which are a pair of first heaters arranged on the upper and lower sides so as to nippingly hold the vacuum container, and a blank heater 104 which is a second heater for heating an electrode pad 111 serving as a wire extraction part.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing wiring substrate, a manufacturing device for wiring substrate, and a method for manufacturing liquid crystal element which are able to prevent ill effect of bubbles generated at the time of manufacturing the wiring substrate. SOLUTION: When a flattened layer which fills between two or more stripe- formed electrodes 3 formed on a surface of a substrate 2 is formed, a first pressure is applied, in a preliminary pressurizing process, to the substrate 2 and smooth board 1, which sandwich a polymeric material 5 in-between, and at the same time, a pressurized part is shifted, the polymeric material is spread wider than a stripe-formed electrode formation area for removing bubbles 21 produced in the polymer material 2 out of the electrode forming area. Further, in a main pressurizing process, a second pressure larger than the first pressure is applied for shifting the pressurizing part for spreading the polymeric materials 5 between the substrate 2 and the smooth board 1, and then, the polymeric materials 5 is hardened for the smooth board 1 to come off for obtaining a wiring substrate little affected by the bubbles.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the delay of voltage waveforms, to reduce the thickness and weight of a liquid crystal panel and to reduce the cost thereof. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal panel is provided with metallic wirings 23 in addition to transparent electrodes 25 and, therefore, the resistance value of the electrodes may be lowered and the delay of the voltage waveforms may be prevented. The metallic wirings 23 are formed by an inexpensive method, by which the cost of the liquid crystal panel itself is reduced. Further, the metallic wirings 23 are formed by a plating method and, therefore, the use of a resin as a translucent base material 21 is possible. Consequently, the lightweight and thin liquid crystal panel is obtd.

Differences in level are formed between the thickness parts 33a of the resins 33 and the metallic wirings 12 and, therefore, the forming width of the respective transparent electrodes 36 is made wider and, eventually, the areas of respective pixels are made larger and images brighter. The improved image quality is thus obtd.
