On introduit le deuxième composant (A) dans la capsule (5), avant la mise en place de cette capsule dans le bidon; le bidon (1) est mis sous une pression de gaz propulseur (4) suffisante pour que, pendant le stockage, et alors que la capsule (5) a été mise en service, la valve (12) reste à l'état fermé; pour réaliser le mélange des composants (S et A), on provoque, en actionnant la tête de distribution (1), une baisse de la pression dans le bidon (1) placé dans une position telle que seul du gaz propulseur sorte de la tête de distribution, ce qui entraîne l'ouverture de la valve (12), la sortie du composant (A) contenu dans cette capsule, et son mélange avec le composant (S) du bidon aérosol.
