The method generally includes reserving a first region of a set of resources to a first user for at least a first uplink transmission related to a first type of service, receiving the first uplink transmission in the reserved first region, and dynamically assigning resources in a second region of the set of resources for at least a second uplink transmission related to the first type of service.

An example method generally includes identifying a plurality of slots in a subframe, receiving a resource configuration for an uplink channel, wherein the resource configuration is associated with a first slot of the plurality of slots, determining a resource for transmitting the uplink channel in a second slot of the plurality of slots, wherein the resource is determined based on the resource configuration associated with the first slot of the plurality of slots, and transmitting the uplink channel in the second slot using the determined resource.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Data may be received during transmission time intervals (TTIs) that have a short duration relative to other TTIs. The short-duration TTIs may occur within or overlap a longer duration TTI, such as a subframe. Feedback responsive to the data may be generated and assigned for transmission during an uplink TTI according to a feedback timing or delay, which may be selected to reduce latency or balance the payload size of uplink messages sent during the assigned uplink TTI. Data and feedback assignments in short-duration TTIs may be configured based on a time division duplexing (TDD) configuration for some TTIs (e.g., subframes). TTIs that are a Long Term Evolution (LTE) subframe, an LTE slot, and a duration of two LTE symbol periods may be supported. Portions of special TTIs may be used for transmissions according to shorter-duration TTIs.

Abstract: Various aspects relate to determining whether one or more subframes are multicast-broadcast single-frequency network (MBSFN) subframes. A user equipment (UE) can receive, from a base station, a system information broadcast signal that includes an indication of one or more subframes as MBSFN subframes, and a subsequent system information broadcast signal that indicates at least scheduling information for a multicast control channel (MCCH) in at least a portion of the one or more subframes. The UE can determine, based at least in part on the indication or on the subsequent system information broadcast signal, a numerology for a physical multicast channel (PMCH) corresponding to the MCCH in at least the portion of the one or more subframes, and can process at least the portion of the one or more subframes based at least in part on the scheduling information or the numerology for the PMCH.

Abstract: Techniques are described for wireless communication. A first method includes winning a contention for access to an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band, and transmitting at least a portion of a channel usage beacon signal (CUBS) over the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. The at least portion of the CUBS is transmitted in a number of frequency interlaces of the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. A second method includes winning a contention for access to an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band; determining whether the contention is won within a threshold time before a next symbol period boundary; and transmitting at least a portion of a CUBS over the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band. The at least portion of the CUBS is transmitted during a preamble including a fractional period of a first symbol period. The at least portion of the CUBS may be based at least in part on the determining.
