    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the thin film whose composition is expressed by FeaSibGec and which has the soft magnetic characteristic of the same degree as Sendust alloy and the remarkably high saturated magnetic flux density by specifying a range of the above composition. CONSTITUTION:The composition is expressed by FeaSibGec (wherein a.b. and c. show the composition rate by atm%) and a range of this composition is the range of formula. For example, Fe, Si and Ge are weighed so as to meet the predetermined composition rate and these are fused and cast by use of a high-frequency induction heating furnace. After that, by mechanical process, these are made into the alloy target for sputtering of 4 inches diameter and 4mm thickness. Sputtering is done by using this alloy target and a high-frequency magnetron sputtering device so that a thin film on a crystallized glass substrate is obtained. Furthermore, this thin film is annealed to be cooled gradually and a soft magnetic thin film is obtained. This can meet the enhancement of the coersive force of a magnetic recording medium sufficiently and it becomes possible to contrive the high quality and high recording density.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a soft magnetic thin film having high permeability in a high- frequency band by growing a magnetic thin film while energizing a film surface, which is forming, toward a predetermined direction in forming a soft magnetic thin film with a vapor phase thin film growing method. CONSTITUTION:An effect equivalnt to sputtering or evaporating in a magnetic field can be obtained when a film is formed while energizing in forming a thin film with sputtering or evaporating. As a magnetic field applied always meets at right angles to a direction of a current, even a magnetic path having a complicated form can be vested with uniaxial anisotropy meeting at right angles to the magnetic path without fail by forming the film while energizing a part corresponding to the magnetic path. For instance, in case of forming a film by flowing an electric grain (i) between both ends of a ring magnetic path 1, a direction ''b'' of an axis of easy magnetization meets at right angles to a direction (a) of the magnetic path 1 at each part of the magnetic path 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve the magnetic permeability of an amorphous magnetic alloy in a high frequency region and to make an alloy suitable for use as the material of a magnetic core or the like by heat treating sheets of the alloy to eliminate the magnetic anisotropy and by coating the sheets with a resin or the like to produce magnetic anisotropy in the vertical direction.
    CONSTITUTION: Sheets 3 of an amorphous magnetic alloy are heat treated in a rotating magnetic field or the like to eliminate the induction magnetic anisotropy. The sheets 3 are laminated while interposing a molding material 4 such as epoxy resin, and both sides of the laminate are coated with the material 4 to produce magnetic anisotropy in the vertical direction to the principal faces of the sheets 3. Both sides of a laminate of the sheets 3 alone may be coated with the material 4. By this method the magnetic permeability of the sheets 3 in a high frequency region of ≥0.1MHz can be improved when the sheets 3 are used as the material of the magnetic core of a magnetic head.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To develop an amorphous magnetic alloy excellent in magnetic characteristics, processability, corrosion resistance and anti-wear property, by a method wherein a Co-Fe-Ta-B alloy having a specific composition containing Co as a main component is melted while the molten alloy is cooled by a super- rapid cooling method to be made amorphous.
    CONSTITUTION: An alloy having a composition represented by a general formula (FeCo)
    x Ta
    y B
    z (wherein x+y+z=100 atom% and x=74W81 atom% y=1W 12 atom% and x+y=75W95 atom%) and contains Co as a main component is prepared by a melting method. This alloy is prepared by quenching and solidifying molten substance as an amorphous magnetic material by a quenching apparatus without using a metalloid element as an amorphousness forming material such as Si and used in preparing the core material of a magnetic head for magnetic recording and reproduction. This amorphous magnetic alloy does not show the deterioration of magnetic permeability and the lowering of mechanical properties even if heated for a long time at a high temp. and excellent in processability, corrosion resistance and anti-wear property.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reliably laminate and adhere chips of an amorphous magnetic material without deteriorating the magnetic permeability mu, by laminating the chips with an adhesive, applying a magnetic field in a direction almost perpendicular to the sides of the chips, and heating the laminate. CONSTITUTION:Chips of an amorphous magnetic material are laminated in the form of a semicore with an adhesive to manufacture a laminate 1, and the laminate 1 is placed so that the side of the laminate meets at nearly right angles to a magnetic field formed with a pair of magnets, that is, the direction of a magnetic flux shown by an arrow in the figure. The time when the magnetic field is applied and the laminate is heated is properly selected in accordance with the kind of the amorphous magnetic material, the kind of the adhesive and conditions during annealing in the magnetic field. The laminate heated in the magnetic field is cooled to ordinary temp. while applying the magnetic field. Thus, a laminate of chips of the amorphous magnetic material holding the high magnetic permeability can be obtd.
