    Abstract: PURPOSE:To always obtain a digital data correctly regardless of the presence or absence of a ghost, by receiving positive and negative digital data which are transmitted through a TV channel and reproducing the digital data based on a part of positive and negative data respectively to compensate the ghost. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd bit A*2 of the digital data A* is obtained at the output side of an OR circuit 23 if the 1st bit A*1 of the data A* obtained at a terminal Q0 of a shift register 24 is set at a low level ''0''. While a signal containng the inverted 2nd bit B*2 of the digital data B* is obtained when the bit A*1 is set at a high level ''1''. The signal obtained at the output side of the circuit 23 is held at the terminal Q0 of the register 24 and at the 3rd clock of a signal CK1. As a result, the signals held at terminals Q0 and Q1 are shifted to terminals Q1 and Q2 respectively. A correct digital data W showing the key code is obtained at output terminals a0-a2 led out of a latch circuit 27 and held there.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To receive a scrambled broadcast effectively through simple operation, by using a magnetic card for CATV in combination. CONSTITUTION:The program code PC of a program that a viewer desires to watch and a key code KC used to broadcast the program are recorded on the magnetic card previously. The data on the magnetic card is read by a reader 18 and stored in a memory 19. The PC is read out the memory 19 and supplied to a comparator 17. At the same time, the KC is also read and supplied to a generating circuit 20 for a scramble signal. When the comparator 17 decided on the coincidence between the PC in a received signal and the PC from the memory 19 and the KC at this time is read in the generating circuit 20 to generates a scramble signal corresponding to the KC. This signal is supplied to a gate circuit 13 and also to a gate circuit 15 after being phase- inverted by an inverter 21 and consequently the phase-inverted signal is phase-inverted again at the transmission side, thus performing descrambling. Signals from the gate circuits 13 and 15 are supplied to a receiver 22. The user only inserts the magnetic card into the reader, so the operation is extremely easy. Further, data on only a desired program is recordable on the user's magnetic card, and the charge for only the program is paid, eliminating such trouble that the charge for undesirable programs should be paid unconditionally.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain descrambling even in the reproduction on a half-way, by inserting a code signal designating a key signal descrambling a scramble TV signal to a vertical blanking period of the TV signal at each prescribed period of a specific program. CONSTITUTION:A TV signal format of a scramble broadcast is transmitted by the key code being added to the end of the broadcast in a video signal period. Thus, the scramble broadcast is recorded at a VTR once and the key code is obtained finally and stored in e.g., a memory, the key code is called at reproduction for descrambling. A program code PC is revised at each program by a code designating the key code and the code PC is inserted at the vertical blanking period of a prescribed program continuously for 70 fields period at about 20-second intervals. Thus, even if the reception is started on the way of signal transmission, since the code PC is detected, the descrambling is feasible by recognizing the corresponding key code.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the sharpness through conversion of a video signal of interlace system into non-interlace system to receive a picture, by emphasizing a vertical high frequency component of a video signal. CONSTITUTION:A signal received at an antenna 20 is applied to a non-interlace converting circuit 24 via a video detection circuit 23 and converted to a non- interlace signal. This signal is applied to a luminance chroma separation circuit 25 and also to a chroma demodulation circuit 26 and a high frequency component emphasizing circuit 28 as chroma and luminance signals respectively. The output signal of the circuit 26 and 28 is given to a matrix circuit 27. In supplying a vertical step waveform, signals are picked up respectively at odd and even number fields from the circuit 24 and the luminance component of the signals is emphasized at an emphasis circuit 24. Thus, pre-shoot and overshoot are given for each one line, then the sharpness can be improved.
