Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an unrecorded part from being mistaken for the fault of an equipment, etc., by a user by displaying that it is the unrecorded part on a display means when a magnetic tape travels on the unrecorded part. CONSTITUTION:A CTL signal is not counted by a CTL counter part 13 in the unrecorded part, so that a display control part 14 interrupts the control of counting-up in the display of hour, minute and second. Then, the display of hour, minute and second is stopped at that time and kept in such a state in the display part 15. When the CTL signal is not detected, an H signal is outputted from an unrecording detection part 16. Since the H signal is also supplied to another input terminal of an AND gate 17 from a control part at such a time, the H signal is supplied to the control part 14 from the gate 17. Based on the H signal, the control part 14 controls the display part 15 to display that it is the unrecorded part. Then, the user does not mistake the unrecorded part as the fault of the equipment and the tape.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute a desired multiple operation by providing a means for registering the user's selected functions and executing the registered functions after compounding. CONSTITUTION:Under the state of displaying a picture, when a selection button 1b is released in a menue registering position, and an execution button 1c is depressed, a menue registering mode is effective. And, under such a circumstance, an optional function is selected by the selection button 1b, and when the execution button 1c is depressed, a nomenclature of the selected function is displayed in a blank on the upper side of the picture. Then, by selecting the desired functions in turn with the selection button 1b and the execution button 1c, the combination of functions for the desired complex operation is displayed in the blank on the upper side of the picture. Furthermore, under such circumstances, a register display is selected by the selection button 1b, and the combination of the displayed functions is registered in a RAM 8 by depressing the execution button 1c. Thus, by selecting the combination of registered functions, a desired multiple operation can be performed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To change printing information and to automatically vary time data to be printed, by printing with a printing means on the basis of printing data from a printing data memory device and time data from a clock circuit. CONSTITUTION:A host computer is connected to a control circuit 1 through an interface 7. Data, such as a date, time, secret code, personal name, and post name, and printing data, such as character font data relating to these data, are supplied via the control circuit 1 and written in a ROM 8. When a push-button of a keyboard 9 is pressed, the control circuit 1 decodes the key input and reads necessary printing data from the ROM 8. The control circuit 1 supplies the data to be printed to a head 2 through a head drive circuit 4. With use of this device, printing information can be changed and time data to be printed can be automatically varied. Therefore, the need for changing a date every day become unnecessary, and a post name, a personal name, etc., can be easily changed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To freely adjust the picture quality of a video in respective bands and to obtain a desirable picture quality by adjusting the frequency characteristic of a video signal for respective bands and displaying an adjusting position. CONSTITUTION:Up keys 5a - 5c and down keys 6a - 6c are operated by viewing a reproducing screen for respective bands of high, intermediate and low by a remote controller 4 in order to adjust the frequency characteristic of a brightness. An infrared transmission ray from the remote controller 4 is received by a remote control light receiving part 11, decoded to a digital control signal in a decoder 12, guided out to a control circuit 14 and processed, a gain control signals for respective bands is changed to an analog control signal in D/A converters 14a - 14c and supplied to the gain adjusting input of respective frequency characteristic adjusting circuits 10a - 10c. Displaying LED groups 3a - 3c light correspondingly to an adjusting level by the output of the control circuit. Thereby, the fine picture quality different for every video source can be obtained by an adjustment.

Thus, by rotating the head by {1+ or -1/(N - or + 1)}.360/n deg. for one unit period, the signal can be successively recorded to the adjoining scope on the tape for one unit period, and therefore, the signal can be continuously recorded over the hole surface of the tape.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To execute the other program by a computer in a picture search time by sending continuously a fast sending command to a reproducing equipment for a prescribed time until the other command is supplied when receiving a high speed reproducing ON command from the computer. CONSTITUTION:An interface 2 generates the control code of a VTR3 with receiving the command of a personal computer 1. Within the modes of the VTR3, the mode such as, a reproducing, a fast sending or a rewinding mode, etc. is set when a control code for it is supplied and a state is kept until when the control code of other mode is supplied. The picture search is set only while the fast sending or the rewinding code is supplied in the mid-reproducing state of the VTR3. The interface 2, with receiving the command which represents the start of the picture search from the computer 1, generates a fast sending or a rewinding control code and continues to generate the control code until the other command is generated and therefore, the computer 1 can execute the other program during the above time.

And a start bit is obtained by the VTR10 as the master device and conveyed to the camera side 20, according to which the data transmission reception are executed. Namely, the data transmission on start-stop synchronization is realized.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain start-stop type two-way communication even without using an LSI especially by combining a shift register incorporated in a microcomputer and a control signal generating circuit as an external circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission request signal DA is fed from a microcomputer 10 to a control signal generating circuit 20 at transmission, a start bit DB is generated from the circuit 20 and a clock pulse DC for the number of stages of the shift register (SR) 11, a data is read and transmitted from the SR11 by using the clock pulse DC. The circuit 20 generates the number of clock pulses for number of the stages of the SR11 based on the detection of the start bit DB at reception and fetches the reception data to the SR11. The enable state of amplifiers 31, 32 is controlled by using the control signal from the circuit 20.
