    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricating condition wherein an increase in rolling load is little and no flaw caused by seizing occurs by compounding a specified polybutene, an oil and a fat and/or a synthetic ester and a fatty acid and/or a phosphate. CONSTITUTION:10-25wt.% polybutene which is a copolymer of isobutylene and n-butylene and has an MW of 1,000-2,500, 45wt.% or more oil and fat and/or synthetic ester (e.g. trimethylolpropane trioleate) and 1-5wt.% fatty acid and/or phosphate (e.g. oleic acid) are compounded together.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the heat scratch to be generated from deficient lubrication and to enable rolling at a stable high speed and high draft by complementing lubricity in the stage of stationary rolling with the precoating oil coated preliminarily on a strip. CONSTITUTION:The rolling mill lubricant is supplied by a feed pump 5-2 for the rolling mill lubricant to work rolls 1-1 and backup rolls 1-2 via injection nozzles 5 on the inlet side and outlet side of a rolling mill 1 and is stored in a rolling mill lubricant tank 5-1 via a recovering tray 5-3, by which the lubricant is cyclically used. On the other hand, the precoating oil is coated on the strip 2 by a feed pump 6-2 on the upper stream of the mill 1 via coating nozzles 6 and is stored via a cover 6-3 for preventing scattering into a precoating oil tank 6-1, by which the oil is cyclically used. The number of revolutions of the driving roll is detected by a tachometer 4 connected to a roll driving motor 3 of the rolling mill and the rolling speed is calculated. The pump 6-2 is operated and the precoating oil is coated on the strip when the prescribed rolling speed for each of rolling passes is attained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase lubricity at the rolling and to reduce carbon stains after annealing by coating a specific coating agent on a cold-rolled steel plate by using rolling oil contg. no rust preventives prior to annealing said rolled steel plate. CONSTITUTION:Rolling oil contg. no rust preventives is coated on the surfaces of a steel plate and rolls and the steel plate is cold-rolled. Next, >=1 kinds of alcohols of 12-20 carbon numbers, monoesters of 18-28 carbon numbers, hydrocarbon polymers of 400-10,000mol.wts., and mineral oils of 8-120cst viscosisties (100 deg.F) are coated on the surfaces of this rolled steel plate. Thence, the steel plate coated with this coating agent is annealed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an anti-galling characteristic under a high temperature environment by forming a lubrication film of inorganic polymer compound having Ti-O obtained through dispersion mixing-in of molibdenum disulfide and/or graphite as a base on at least one of nonthreaded metal contact parts of a box and a pin. SOLUTION: A screw joint for oil well pipes to be used in taking crude oil under a high temperature embironment in the case of high depth, high temperature or steam injection type oil well or the like is constructed of a pin 2 and a box each of which has a threaded part and a nonthreaded metal contact part. On at least any one of nonthreaded metal contact parts of the pin 2 and the box, a lubrication film 6 made of inorganic polymer compound 7 having Ti-0 obtained through dispersion mixing-in of solid lubricant 8 as a base is formed. As the lubricant 8, only molibdenum disulfide or graphite is used, or both of them are used in a mixed condition. The surface roughness of a portion forming the film 6 is preferably 3-15 μm at Rmax.
