Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sensitivity and obtain a stable performance in a wide area by biaxially orienting a resin composition obtained by blending a copolymer of a β-hydroxybutyric acid and a β-hydroxyvaleric acid with an L-lactate polymer to form a thermal stencil printing film. SOLUTION: A thermal stencil printing film used for a thermal stencil printing base sheet perforated and engraved by a thermal head or the like is formed by biaxially orienting a resin composition obtained by blending a copolymer of a β-hydroxybutyric acid and a β-hydroxyvaleric acid with an L-lactate polymer. In this case, it is contained that the copolymer of the β-hydroxybutyric acid and the β-hydroxyvaleric acid to the L-lactate polymer is 1 to 50 mol % and the copolymer component of the L-lactate polymer, the β-hydroxybutyric acid and the β-hydroxyvaleric acid totally occupies 90 mol % of the total polymer component in the film. As the L-lactate polymer, a lactate- hydroxycarboxylate copolymer or the like is used.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image property of a high quality without void and unevenness in density on a black solid printed surface by a method wherein an average transmissivity when transmitted light is cast on a base paper, is a specified value or higher, and also, a promotion index is within a specified range. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin film and a porous supporting body may be bonded using an adhesive, or may be bonded without using adhesive. This base paper has an average trnsmissiovity when transmitted light is cast, of 50% or higher, and its is important that a formation index is within a range of 1-5. Preferably, the average transmissivity is 60% or higher, and the formation index is within a range of 2.0-5.0, and more preferably, the average transmissivity is 70% or higher, and the formation index is within a range of 2.0-5.0. When the average transmssivity is less than 50%, an ink transfer amount becomes insufficient, and only image of a low printing density are obtained, and it is not preferable. Also, when the formation index exceeds the range of 1-5, an ink passing becomes uneven, and void may occur on th printing. or an uneveness in the density becomes larger, and it is not preferable.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To upgrade an image property by preventing a plate attaching wrinkle in a stencil printing using a heat sensitive stencil printing base sheet. SOLUTION: The heat sensitive stencil printing base sheet obtained by laminating a thermoplastic resin film and a porous support made of thermoplastic resin fibers without adhesive comprises a fiber layer containing a surfactant and a fiber layer containing no surfactant in the support. In this case, the layer containing the surfactant is disposed at an opposite side surface to the film.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide thermal screen printing stencil paper high in sensitivity and image quality and excellent in printing durability and wrinkle-proofing properties. SOLUTION: In thermal screen printing stencil paper obtained by laminating a polyester film and a porous support composed of polyester fibers without interposing an adhesive between both of them, the porous support is constituted of two or more kinds of layers containing fibers different in diameter and the orientation parameter of the film calculated by a laser Raman spectroscopic method is 3-10. This thermal screen printing stencil paper is produced by superposing two or more unstretched polyester fiber layers different in fiber diameter (5 μm) on an unstretched polyester fiber layers to co-stretch them.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid occurrence of crease during a period of setting on plate by specifying a coefficient of static friction between a carrier surface and a metal plate into a specific value in a thermosensible stencil printing paper consisting of a polyester film and porous carrier. SOLUTION: At the time of measurement of a metal plate, a coefficient μS of the porous carrier surface of paper is made to be 0.3 or more and 1 or less. Preferably, it is made to be 0.35 or more and 0.9 or less and, more preferably, 0.4 or more and 0.8 or less. The coefficient of static friction μS is obtained from μS=Fs/Fd by making the degree of an initial shearing force into Fs when paper is cut out into 100 mm in length and 75 mm in width to thereby be in contact with regard to the metal plate having a surface roughness of 6.3S or more and 100S or less by its porous carrier surface, a weight (this is made into surface pressure Fp) is put on the film surface to subsequently be allowed to travel at 150 mm/min. Besides, the longitudinal orientation of paper mentioned herein is a longitudinal orientation (traveling orientation) of paper wound up in a roll shape, and the lateral orientation is a width orientation of paper.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a makeup method for a stencil which deals with superdelicate makeup work, makeup speed acceleration and coloring process and at the same time, contributes to the prolongation of the like of a thermal head and shows superior independent perforating performance. SOLUTION: This makeup method for a stencil is to perforate the thermosensitive film of a dot matrix-type thermosensitive stencil paper with the help of a thermal head with plural dot-like heating elements. In this case, the thermosensitive stencil paper is a laminate formed by thermally adhering a film of thermoplastic resin ands non-woven cloth of thermoplastic resin without the use of an adhesive and constretching. When performing the makeup, the maximum value T(TPH) of the surface temperature ( deg.C) of the thermal head has to satisfy formula (Tm1+10

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make perforation properties good with low energy and to obtain a diameter of perforation in accordance with change in energy level by bonding a porous substrate on a laminated film for a heat-sensitive stencil printing original paper constituted of films of at least two layers. SOLUTION: A laminated film for a heat-sensitive stencil printing original paper is prepd. by a method wherein polyesters with different m.p. of at least 5 deg.C each other wherein an arom. dicarboxylic acid or an aliph. dicarboxylic acid and a diol are main constitutional ingredients are melt-extruded by using separate extruders and they are laminated in a nozzle manifold part or a polymer pipe entering to a nozzle and the polymers are extruded on a cast drum and the undrawn laminated film is drawn by means of a biaxial stretching method. A porous substrate is bonded on the laminated film for the heat- sensitive stencil printing original paper. It is possible to obtain good perforation properties by low energy and in accordance with change in energy level.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To carry out high precision and high quality printing by making base paper for themosensible mimeographing specifying a film orientation parameter for a part of adhesion to support fibers which is obtained by a laser-Raman spectroscopic method. CONSTITUTION: Base paper for thermosensible mimeographing is prepared by gluing a polyester film and a porous support made from synthetic fibers. In this process, it is necessary that a film orientation parameter (R1) for a part of adhesion to the support fibers which is obtained by a laser-Raman spectroscopic method is lower than that (R2) for a non-adhesion part, and the difference between them is made 0.10 or greater. Synthetic fibers of polyester, polyamide, polyphenylene sulfide, polyacrylonitrile, etc., are applicable. The polyester which can be used preferably for the film and the support fibers is made from aromatic dicarboxylic acid, aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, other acids and dial as main components.
