Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a porous polyarylene resin molding easily and stably by a melt process, by stretching a polyarylene resin melt molding under conditions including a specified standing time, a specified temperature and a specified stretch speed. CONSTITUTION:A porous polyarylene molding is produced from a melt-molded polyarylene resin in the following way. Namely, the melt molding is left standing for at least 3hr and stretched at a temperature lower than the glass transition temperature and a stretch speed of 5m/min or higher. Polyarylene resins which can be applied particularly effectively in this process include melt-moldable polyarylene resins represented by polyphenylene sulfide, its copolymers and derivatives, polyether sulfones, polycarbonates, polyethylene naphthalate and compounds having structural units of the formula (wherein A is a 1C or higher organic group, and n is 0 or an integer).

Abstract: PURPOSE:In a sheet consisting of an entangled material of fibers and polyurethane, to obtain the titled flexible, napped sheet slightly causing removal of fibers, by forming a specific structure between the inner layer part of the sheet and the root part of napped fiber on the surface. CONSTITUTION:An entangled material of fiber consisting preferably of extremely thin synthetic fibers having =4.0X10 coagulation rate to give a sheet, which is buffed and napped. A double layer structure wherein the inner layer has higher fine porosity of polyurethane and the inner layer has more noncontact parts of polyurethane and fibers between the inner layer part of the sheet and at least one root part of napped fiber on the surface is formed, and a napped sheet having flexibility, wear resistance, slightly causing removal of fibers, is obtained.

CONSTITUTION:Multicomponent fibers capable of giving superfine fibers of fineness per fiber =5g/de and color fastness >= Grade 2 by extreme thinning, consisting of two or more components; island and sea, having different swelling in the aqueous system, e.g. hydrophilic and hydrophobic components. The fibers are obtained by drawing undrawn multicomponent filament yarns consisting of island and sea components with adhesive moisture =3 before the necking point in an aqueous system.
