Abstract:
A micro bubble generating system includes a shell having a well for retaining a first liquid to immerse an object. A micro bubble apparatus is provide to the shell for providing a pressurized mixture of a second liquid and a dissolved gas into the well so as to create a plurality of micro bubbles within the first liquid for engaging the object. One method of using micro bubbles includes providing a fluid mixture, including a saturated gas, to a fluid chamber connected a fitting; and producing a plurality of micro bubbles into a fluid. Another method of using micro bubbles includes providing a fluid mixture, including a saturated gas, into an air entrapment chamber; and producing a plurality of micro bubbles into a fluid.
Abstract:
A headband for the treatment of headaches and the like consists of a length of elasticized fabric with hook and loop separable fasteners at its ends for adjustable pressured securement about a user's head. A mask for the user's eyes is detachable secured to the band. A pocket in the band as well as a pocket in the eye mask are adapted to receive a bag of granules that focuses the pressure of the band on a selected area of the head or hot and cold packs, scent packets or magnet strips.

Abstract:
A cooling and/or heating system is provided that may include an air conditioning and heat pump assembly (refrigerant-based) housed within an enclosure. Ducts are provided to deliver air cooled by the air conditioning unit or air heated by the heat pump to one or more users positioned in the enclosure. A reversing valve is provided for directing the flow of pressurized refrigerant to one of the condenser and evaporator. When operated in heating mode, the refrigerant flow is reversed by the reversing valve and heated air is delivered through the same duct work. The air conditioning and/or heat pump assembly is controlled by a vending module to be operated by a user. The system is particularly well suited to include the sale of secondary retail and information services and items at populated public locations, e.g., a beach, city street and parks, and at other venues, e.g., theme parks, golf courses, concerts, ski slopes or other sports venues or indoor facilities such as subway stations, adult night clubs, college bars or airports.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for providing dry hydrotherapy, augmented by thermal, visual, olfactory, and auditory sources and sinks, to a reclined human subject. A dry hydrotherapy bed includes a canopy which programmatically emits light in varying frequencies, amplitudes, and durations. Other embodiments control the temperature of the pressurized liquid, and the aromas and sounds presented to the user. A variable speed pump motor control and a twin gear drive system improve control of hydrotherapy forces. A separate, liquid filled barrier on the top surface of the bed reduces the noise created from the pressurized liquid discharge. A combined cover and sheet system uses a loose fitting sheet over the massage window with a cover for a flat top surface. An electrical grounding means discharges any accumulated electricity from the user's body. The invention can be embodied in a stand-alone unit or adapted to an existing home or commercial building.
Abstract:
An air control and aromatherapy module for a jetted tub comprising an air control member having a body portion defining an intake opening, a scent container defining a scent opening, and a housing having a body portion. The scent container is positioned within the body portion of the air control member. The air control member and the scent container are at least partially disposed within the body portion of the housing. The air control member and the housing define a central passageway and the scent opening of the scent container is in fluid communication with the central passageway. A method of providing aromatherapy to a jetted tub is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Massager vehicle for autonomously traveling on the body of a patient, The massager vehicle is massaging the body of the patient, the massager vehicle includes a vehicle chassis, at least one motor, at least three wheels, a roll tilt sensor, a pitch tilt sensor, a boundary sensor and a controller, The at least three wheels are coupled with the chassis, at least one of the wheels is positioned at a first side of the chassis and at least another one of the wheels is positioned at a second side of the chassis, opposite to the first side, the roll tilt sensor determines a roll angle of the massager vehicle, the pitch tilt sensor determines a pitch angle of the massager vehicle, the boundary sensor determines when the massager vehicle is approaching a boundary, beyond which the massager vehicle may not travel, the controller controls the motion of the massager vehicle the controller is coupled with the motor, the roll tilt sensor, the pitch tilt sensor and with the boundary sensor, the controller receives information from the roll tilt sensor, the pitch tilt sensor and from the boundary sensor, the controller instructs the motor to change the direction of travel of the massager vehicle according to the received information.

Abstract:
The present invention is a passive means of treating athlete's foot and/or other foot related skin ailments (i.e., toenail fungus, cracked heals, etc.) while taking a shower. The user would purchase the system which is comprised of a plastic or stainless steel cage, and a medicinal or herbal fragrance tablet similar to a urinal cake in size. The cage uses a suction cup or other means to attach to the side or floor of a bathtub or shower stall, and is hinged and opens to accept the tablet. As the user showers, the impact of water off the body and surrounding walls dissolve the tablet over time, thus treating the user's feet by coming into contact with the medicated water. The herbal or fragrance tablets could be used by a person that doesn't suffer from athlete's foot but enjoys an aromatic or skin softening effect.
