Abstract:
A filter manifold is provided for filtering particulates in fluid and gas streams. The filter manifold seals the inlet and outlet valves in a closed position until a filter capsule is loaded into a carriage assembly. The inlet and outlet valves are opened only when a filter capsule is properly loaded into the carriage assembly.
Abstract:
A quick-release device of an industrial filter is provided, including: a main body, including a first assembling portion for being non-rotatably engaged with a filter assembly and a second assembling portion for being non-rotatably assembled to an external device; a positioning portion, connected to the first assembling portion, complementary to the first engaging portion in structure. An industrial filter includes the quick-release device and the filter assembly. The filter assembly includes an assembling hole communicating with an interior of the external device. The industrial filter may further include the external device. The external device includes a shell body, the quick-release device is positionably arranged in the shell body, and the filter assembly is assembled in the shell body.
Abstract:
A water filter assembly having a manifold with a rotatable cylinder in which a filter cartridge is removably received is provided. The filter assembly has a noise generator adjacent to the rotatable cylinder of the manifold. When the filter cartridge with the rotatable cylinder is rotated between an installed position and an uninstalled position, the noise generator creates an audible noise. The noise may indicate, for example, that the filter cartridge may be removed from the manifold.

Abstract:
A water filter assembly is provided. The water filter assembly includes a casing that is selectively mounted to a manifold. A filtering media is positioned within the casing for filtering a flow of water through the casing. The water filter assembly also includes features for hindering spilling of water during changing of the filtering media.
Abstract:
A filter assembly (48) includes a filter element (38), a cap (22), and a base seal (70). The filter element (38) has a first end (40), a second end (42), an outer surface (44), and an inside passage (46). The cap (22) is affixed to the first end (40). The cap (22) has a cap perimeter configured to mate with an opening (50) of a filter housing (24). The base seal (70) is disposed at the second end (42). The base seal (70) has an outlet port (72) in cooperative alignment with the inside passage (46). The base seal (70) is configured to seal the outlet port (72) to a housing outlet (64) and the base seal (70) is configured to seal a housing drain (74).
Abstract:
A housing for use in a fuel system component that comprises a body defining an interior and having an inlet leading into the interior and an outlet leading from the interior, wherein at least one of the inlet and the outlet is defined by a port through a wall of the body and a fitting defining a passage open to the port, the fitting have a portion extending from the port that is not circular in cross-section. The body includes a cap with the fitting extending axially from the cap. In cross-section, the fitting has a major dimension oriented generally circumferentially and a minor dimension that is smaller than the major dimension and generally oriented radially relative to the axis of the housing. Optionally, the fitting may be integrally formed with the cap.
Abstract:
A filter assembly (100) is provided. The filter assembly (100) includes a first component (102) having a first groove (114). The filter assembly (100) further includes a second component (104) having a second groove (114). The first groove (114) of the first component (102) and the second groove (114) of the second component (104) define a channel (138) therebetween. Furthermore, the filter assembly (100) includes a cord member (140) removably inserted in the channel (138) to detachably couple the second component (104) to the first component (102).
Abstract:
The present invention provides methods and systems for a reusable water filter cartridge that includes a top portion with a pair of spaced apart bores for receiving an elongate member that is inserted through the bores, and a bottom portion selectively secured to the top portion and including a cavity. A filter element is contained within the cavity.
Abstract:
A filter receptacle assembly is described including a filter receptacle having a receptacle wall and a circular edge defining an opening for receiving a filter cartridge and a first interlock device coupled to the receptacle wall of the filter receptacle, wherein the first interlock device comprises a first actuator moveable between a first position and a second position and biased into the first position, wherein at least a portion of the first actuator protrudes from the receptacle wall in the first position, wherein the first interlock device is configured so that when a filter cartridge is inserted into the filter receptacle, the first actuator is moved by the filter cartridge from the first position to the second position and is held in the second position by the filter cartridge.
