Abstract:
An elevator group control system is provided which stably keeps cage's position in temporally equal interval condition over a long period of time. The present invention provides a system comprising: reference route generating means, which for each elevator, generates a reference route which the elevator should follow with respect to the time axis and position axis; and assignment means which selects an elevator for assignment to a generated hall call so as to make the actual trajectory of each elevator closer to its reference route.Since reference routes which guides the cage's trajectory into temporally equal interval condition are generated and car assignment is executed so as to make the respective cages follow their reference routes, it is possible to allow the cages to settle in temporally equal interval condition over a long period of time.
Abstract:
A control device for a double-deck elevator system having an upper deck and a lower deck, includes a group control device for assigning the upper and lower decks to respond to car calls from the upper and lower decks and boarding hall calls from a plurality of floors. The control device further includes an assignment control device for determining whether a plurality of the car calls and boarding hall calls can be responded to simultaneously and for directing said group control device to reassign the upper and lower decks to respond to the plurality of car calls and boarding hall calls simultaneously.
Abstract:
The position and direction (0-27, FIG. 2) of each elevator car (A-D) in a group of cars is recorded along with time and traffic rate of the elevator group to provide a data stream. The canonic representation of the position and direction data is reduced, to eliminate symmetry (FIGS. 1, 3 and 4) resulting from the relative positions and directions of the cars being the same except for the identification of which car is at which position and direction. An entropy estimation algorithm is used to provide a plot of entropy as a function of time, which is then translated from the other data in the stream to entropy as a function of traffic rate (FIG. 5). A maximum traffic rate is chosen, and thereafter, during normal operation, if the current rate is higher than the maximum, an elevator group parameter is altered to increase the traffic-handling capability of the group, but if the current traffic rate is lower than the maximum, an elevator parameter is altered in a manner to decrease the traffic-handling capability of the group.
Abstract:
In a vertically movable elevator group management control apparatus for control of a plurality of transversely shiftable cars among plural shafts, control is done by storing route data with respect to each said car, generating target floor data including a target floor, based on car call data obtained in correspondence with each said car and station call data as obtained correspondingly to each floor, estimating the time taken for said car to reach said target floor, based on at least said route data, said target floor data and said car call data, and assigning a certain car to a certain floor call, based on the estimated arrival time.
Abstract:
A group controller for controlling elevator cars in a building having a plurality of floors includes a traffic and traffic rate estimator for providing fuzzy estimates of traffic and traffic rate; a closed loop fuzzy logic controller for providing a control parameter in response to the fuzzy estimates of traffic and traffic rate and in response to an elevator control system output variable; and an elevator dispatcher for controlling the operation of the elevator cars during single source traffic conditions in response to the control parameter.
Abstract:
A group controller for controlling elevator cars in a building having a plurality of floors includes an elevator dispatcher for controlling the operation of the elevator cars during single source traffic conditions, the elevator dispatcher having a constraint for limiting car assignments in response to the constraint; and an adaptive contraint generator for modifying a value of the constraint in response to an elevator control system output variable. In one embodiment, the group controller includes a traffic and traffic rate estimator for providing fuzzy estimates of traffic and traffic rate; a fuzzy logic controller for providing a control parameter in response to the fuzzy estimates of traffic and traffic rate, the control parameter having a constraint for limiting a value of the control parameter; an adaptive constraint generator for modifying a value of the constraint in response to an elevator control system output variable; and an elevator dispatcher for controlling the operation of the elevator cars during single source traffic conditions in response to the control parameter.
Abstract:
An elevator control apparatus is provided with means for detecting a new type of elevator car traffic information consisting of the information indicating, by allotting the passengers in the car to resistered cage calls, how many passengers classified for each of destination floors are in the car, namely, the information indicating the number of in-cage passengers classified for each of destination floors. In an apparatus comprising means for allotting a hall call generated to an optimum one of a plurality of cars and means for detecting the number of prospective passengers waiting on the floors, the number of prospective passengers waiting at the floor the hall call from which is allotted to the car and the number of passengers classified for each of destination floors are added to or subtracted from the number of passengers in the car for each floor involved thereby to forecast the number of in-cage passengers in the leading floors. It is decided whether there is room available or not in the car for accomodating additional passengers at the leading floors, by comparing the forecast number of passengers in the car with a predetermined number limit of the passengers for the car. By the use of the result of this decision, the hall call is prevented from being allotted to a car having no room for accomodating additional passengers.
Abstract:
An elevator control of an elevator installation with at least two elevator cars that move independently of one another in a common elevator shaft has a control device for fixing a first common direction of travel of the at least two elevator cars and for reversing this first direction of travel on the basis of at least one internal destination floor selection and/or an external conveying request and/or a destination call only when all of the internal destination floor selections and/or all of the external conveying requests and/or all of the destination calls in the first direction of travel have been processed.
Abstract:
A method and a display for elevator allocation evaluating are provided. When an elevator allocated to a hall call is selected by employing two different view points such as a real and a future call evaluation index, an elevator allocation reason and a balance between the two view points can be easily grasped. An elevator allocated to a hall call is evaluated on orthogonal coordinates in which the real call evaluation index and the future call evaluation index are defined as an X and a Y coordinate axis. Evaluation indexes of first to fourth elevator cars are evaluated by employing contour lines of a synthetic evaluation function, which is represented as the real and the future call evaluation index. A weight for allocating is displayed visually.
