    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet with a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which, when applied to an optical member such as a polarizing plate or a retardation plate, is excellent in stress-relaxation property and property of preventing light leakage and excellent also in durability, while satisfying optical characteristics such as total light transmittance. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet comprises a base material and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer formed from a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition containing a polyrotaxane (A) in which a straight chain molecule pierces into openings of at least two cyclic molecules and which has one or more reactive groups in the cyclic molecules and has blocking groups at both terminals of the straight chain molecule, wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer has an elongation at break of ≥300% and a haze value of ≤30%. The holding power of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet based on JIS Z0237, except that a measurement temperature is 80°C, is ≤1,000 μm as a shift length of the pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet after 70,000 seconds.
