Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve flight performance by curving the tip section of the blade of a rotary wing downward over the whole length, and forming it into the prescribed circular arc-shaped curve. CONSTITUTION: The blade 1 of a rotary wing has the prescribed tip section 6 at the end section of a flow section 5. The tip section 6 is connected to the outer end of the flow section 5 along a cross section 12, and the cross section 12 faces the outer shape 7 of a chord 8. A curve 16 on the chord 8 of the outer shape 18 of the tip section 6 is extended a long a reference line 11 and crosses the chord of the outer shape 13 of an end section. The outer circular arc 6e and inner circular arc 6i of the tip section 6 are curved, and they are formed into a convex shape and a concave shape respectively. The tip section 6 inclined downward is improved over the whole length, thereby good performance can be obtained in an advance flight as well as in hovering.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To unnecessitate gain adjustment at a receiving part even when there are subscribers by providing plural groups and couples of the pairs of a transmission part and a reception parts in each of plural networks connected through an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: Networks N1 to N6 are provided with star structure branched into four, and each branch consists of the group G1 to G4 of pairs of a transmission part E and a reception part R. In each branch, optical fibers 1.1 to 1.4 starting from a transmission part E are connected to an optical coupler 2, and optical fibers 4.1 to 4.4 reaching the reception part R starts from an optical coupler 5. In addition the outputs 3.1 to 3.4 of the coupler 2 and optical fiber 6.1 to 6.4 are connected by couplers 7.1 to 7.4. Consequently in each network, every specific part E is connected to the part R by the couplers 2 or 5. Thereby the attenuation of transmission force is the same concerning the paths of all the parts E and R to make it possible to neglect the difference of attenuation to unnecessitate gain adjustment, thus the transmitter is constituted of already known simple components.

PURPOSE: To improve performance such as a compatible lift coefficient and an operating Mach number or the like by specifying the curvature of the leading edge of a section of a shrouded propeller blade and forming upper and lower surface lines of the section by plural portions respectively having a specified curvature. CONSTITUTION: In the section of a shrouded propeller blade, the curvature at the leading edge is set to have a maximum value of 47-98 as a function of relative thickness. The upper surface line 2 of the section comprises a first portion where the curvature decreases rapidly from the maximum value at the leading edge to a value close to 20 at a first point of which the reduced abscissa is close to 1%, a second portion where the curvature decreases more slowly from the value close to 20 at the first point up to a value close to 1 at a second point of which the reduced abscissa is close to 25%, and a third portion where the curvature is less than 1 between the second point and the trailing edge. The lower surface line 3 is also formed by first to third portions 3.1-3.3 respectively having a specified curvature.
Abstract:
In order to correct the output voltage of at least one photodetector (PDm,n) in an imaging system (SI) after exposure to a luminance source (SL) for a given time (TI), a memory (MT) stores the output voltages of the photodetector during at least two predetermined periods included in a voltage linear-variation interval. The luminance source has a stationary luminance during the predetermined periods. An adjustor (VTI) and a voltage corrector determine by linear extrapolation a correction voltage (Vcm,n) based on the predetermined periods and the evaluated output voltages. The corrector (CNU) corrects the output voltage (VSm,n) of the photodetector based on the correction voltage. No complex mechanical or optical part is added.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an optical device comprising a plurality of sub-pupils each consisting of a plurality of optical elements for observing a scene, the plurality of sub-pupils forming the entrance pupil of the device, characterized in that all the optical elements constituting each sub-pupil are integrated within a rigid mechanical structure (10) supporting all the optical elements and ensuring the rigidity of the device, said structure (10) having a height (L) that is less than the diameter (B) of the entrance pupil of the device.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of producing and joining superalloy balls by means of brazing and to objects produced with such joints. According to the invention, an alloy powder covered with a brazing solder is bonded to a spherical core and subsequently transformed into a continuous alloy layer by means of brazing.
Abstract:
A method is proposed for manufacturing a composite material piece of large dimensions and having a high fibre volume ratio (more than 58%) by resin transfer moulding. It consists in compacting strongly a fibrous preform (26) placed in a mould (20), while injecting the resin at a constant preset flow rate, as long as the instantaneous pressure at the inlet of the mould is less than a preset pressure. When this preset pressure is reached, the flow rate is reduced to maintain the pressure at this level, and compacting of the preform (26) is temporarily reduced. The injection flow rate is then brought back to the constant preset flow rate and compacting is increased to start a new cycle.
