Providing an indication of the physiological state of the heart of a mammal by the steps of detecting periodic activity of internal heart organs in a sequence of heart cycles; observing a predetermined physical quantity characteristic of a selected activity; evaluating predetermined statistical parameters of the predetermined physical quantity for a selected number of the sequence of heart cycles; and comparing the evaluated statistical parameters with reference values thereby to provide an indication of the state of the selected activity.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indication for physiological state of heart of mammalian heart. SOLUTION: This mapping comprises the process for detecting the periodic activity of an internal heart organ in the sequence of heart cycle, the process for observing a predetermined physical quantity characteristic of a selected activity, the process for evaluating a predetermined statistical parameter of the predetermined physical quantity for a selected number of sequence of the heart cycle, and the process for comparing the evaluated statistical parameter with a reference value to provide the indication of the state of the selected activity.
