Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for grading user devices (e.g., mobile devices, smartphones, loT devices, electronic devices, etc.). Image data associated with one or more portions of a user device may be determined as the user device traverses a conveyor system. The image data may be analyzed and a graphical depiction of regions of the user device where defects are present may be generated to rank, score, and/or grade the user device and/or portions of the user device.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatically testing a network switch are disclosed according to various embodiments. In one example, a method for automatically and simultaneously testing Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports and traffic throughput of a network switch is disclosed. A data traffic is generated by a network tester with a predetermined speed based on a configuration of the network switch. The data traffic is directed through the PoE ports of the network switch. At least one PoE tester connected to the network switch via the PoE ports of the network switch is configured, e.g. by a test application running on a test computer. A first result of testing the PoE ports is obtained by the test computer from the at least one PoE tester. A second result of testing the traffic throughput of the network switch is obtained by the test computer from the network tester.

Abstract: A method of detecting a blemish in a digital camera includes capturing a digital image of a white area by the digital camera; reducing resolution of the digital image by grouping pixels of the digital data into a matrix of a plurality of data blocks; and comparing a luminance value of each of the plurality of data blocks to an average luminance value of other data blocks of the plurality of data blocks within a predetermined region to determine if each of the plurality of data blocks is a potentially bad data block.

Abstract: A parts matching system includes a camera: a depth sensor: a dichroic mirror that passes light of an image scene of a device under test to the camera and reflects laser light emitted from the depth sensor to the device under test and reflects the laser light reflected from the device under test to the depth sensor; and a computer that processes (i) data received from the depth sensor to determine a distance of the device under test to the camera and (ii) image data of the device under test received from the camera.

Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for testing the wireless functionality of a plurality of devices under test. In one example, a testing system includes a testing frame with multiple radio frequency (RF) shielded cabinets. Each of the RF shielded cabinets may house an antenna and a device under test. In addition, an electrical circuit couples a wireless simulation system to the antennas. The electrical circuit includes an RF combiner configured to combine two cellular signals from the wireless simulation system to output a combined cellular signal. The electrical circuit also includes an amplifier configured to receive the combined cellular signal and output an amplified cellular signal. Further, the electrical circuit includes an RF splitter configured to receive the amplified cellular signal and provide the amplified cellular signal to each of the plurality of antennas located within the RF shielded cabinets of the testing system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for defect detection on displays are disclosed according to various embodiments. In one example, a disclosed method for detecting defects on an electronic device display comprises connecting an electronic device to a server computer having a processor and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing test software for testing the electronic device display. The method further comprises displaying an outline on the electronic device display, where the outline traces a perimeter of the electronic device display, and where the outline comprises pixels of a first color. The first color differs from a color of a pixel that is not on the perimeter of the electronic device display. The method further comprises capturing a digital image of the electronic device while the electronic device is displaying the outline, transmitting the digital image to the server computer, and analyzing the digital image at the server computer.
