Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering attaching importance to design, including a flexible support structure and a plurality of strip pieces, i.e., slats mounted to the support structure so that the movement of the plurality of strip pieces, i.e., slats is dependent upon the movement of the support structure. SOLUTION: The support structure formed of a cellular structural material supports the plurality of strip pieces, i.e., slats 42, and the movement of the strip pieces, i.e., slats is completely dependent upon the movement of the support structure. A fabric 36 of such configuration is usable incorporated into the covering of an architectural opening, and the covering in that case includes, for instance, a headrail 32 and a means for gathering the fabric within the headrail. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover of an opening of a building, which has an excellent practical function, for example, of reducing heat lost through the opening, by properly screening the opening of the building, and which is original and excellent in beauty.SOLUTION: A support structure 38 made of a cell-type structural material supports a plurality of strip-shaped pieces, that is, slats 42, and motions of the strip-shaped pieces, that is, the slats 42 completely follow a motion of the support structure 38. A fabric 36 configured in this way can be used by being incorporated into a cover of an opening of the building. The cover in that case includes, for example, a head rail 32 and means for extracting the fabric 36 into the head rail 32.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shade that can be moved between a closed position with blades extended and a retracted open position with the blades projecting away from a support structure to define spaces between the blades to allow vision and light to pass.SOLUTION: Openings allow vision and light to pass in an open condition of a covering. A support structure, blades and operation elements 466 are wrapped around a roller 472 in a head rail in a retracted position of the covering and unwrapped in an extended position. An inhibitor system is incorporated into the covering, and the blades are allowed to open automatically when the support structure, the blades and the operation elements 466 reach an extended position.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding mechanism capable of reliably controlling the retraction and deployment of an architectural shield, such as a window blind or shade. SOLUTION: A hydraulic brake 40 capable of delaying a rotation of at least in one direction of a first axis for a winding element is provided. The hydraulic brake 40 is provided with a liquid tight partitioned room 42 housing liquid and flexible impellers 46. The partition room and impellers 46 are capable of making a relative rotation around the first axis and a second axis as same as the first axis. If the liquid is rotated at least in the first direction about the second axis of rotation relatively to the impeller 46 or the partitioned space 42, then the rotation of the winding element at least in the second direction about the first axis can be delayed. The impellers 46 or inner peripheral wall surfaces inside the partitioned space 42 have first surfaces extended almost in a radial direction relative to the axis of the second axis and also substantially in parallel to the second axis. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device and a manufacturing method for a panel of cellular laminate structure. SOLUTION: The device is composed of a feeding section to fold up a flexible strip material into a cellular structure sequentially and feed the cellular structure to a conveyor capable of holding it compressed; a laminating station to laminate the folded cellular structure to an upper and/or lower sheet materials on which a gluing vehicle is applied before abutting the cellular structure; a heating station to heat the gluing vehicle; a cooling station to cool after lamination; a side part forming station 80 to fold up the sheet material on the side of the panel; and a cutting station 82 to cut the cellular laminate thus formed. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alternative method of securely attaching a long bracket to a supporting rod of a louver which can be easily used and/or which can be provided at low cost. SOLUTION: The louver is used for controlling light or ventilation which passes through a window of a building. The louver L includes a nearly rectangular slender panel 1, the slender supporting rod 3, and a bracket 4 extended in the lateral direction. The slender supporting rod 3 is extended in the longitudinal direction. The bracket 4 is separately placed along the supporting rod, and retains the side edges, which are reverse to each other, of the panel in the upper position of the supporting rod. The bracket 4 is retained on the supporting rod 3 by a pair of upper and lower keyway structures K1, K2 which are provided on the side reverse to the louver L. The upper keyway structure K1 is a ball and socket structure which are engaged with each other, and the lower keyway structure K2 is a snap engagement structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a blind having beautiful appearance at a low cost by mounting a fabric sheet on vanes vertically suspended from the upper part of a window, at the same time, forming the vanes from the same material as the fabric sheet and rotating the vanes to adjust quantity of light. CONSTITUTION: A translucent or transparent sheet 60 is mounted on vanes 56 mounted on a plurality of rotary shafts 70 vertically suspended to a head rail 62 of a window. The vanes 56 are formed from the same material as the fabric sheet 60 infiltrating reinforced material into it to stick it thereon in two layers and giving a certain measure of rigidity formed in the shape of a narrow plate. The vanes can be formed from plastic, aluminum or the like, if necessary. The vanes 56 are rotated in the horizontal direction by an operation code 82, and a passing amount of light is adjusted. This method can be also applied to a horizontal blind. By the constitution, a good looking blind can be obtained at a low cost.

PURPOSE: To facilitate suspension of a panel by forming a panel structure out of elongate channel panels, first elongate carrier members, second carriers, and means for mounting the second carriers on the first carrier members. CONSTITUTION: A ceiling panel structure 10 is made up of first elongate carrier members 12, 14, 18, 20, second carriers 30, 32, 34, and brackets 36, 36,... for mounting the second carriers on the first carrier members. Then, support surfaces 46 which support the members 12, 14, 18, 20 each holding a rim member 56 of a panel 28 are arranged at a longitudinal interval corresponding to a distance of D.secα in the members 12, 18, and at a longitudinal interval corresponding to a distance of D.cosecα in the members 14, 20. Next, the rim members 56 of the plurality of panels 28 having an inverted channel cross section are suspended from support surfaces of the respective members 12, 14, 18, 20 of the structure 10 mounted on a ceiling or the like, and the rim members 56 are engaged with holding members 70 of the carriers 30, 32, 34 to reinforce the same, to thereby constitute the ceiling. Thus, suspension of the panels 28 is facilitated.
