Abstract:
8245. Lofthouse, J. M., and Booty, E. R. April 1. Carburetting.-Relates to means for controlling the supply of hydrocarbon to a carburettor in proportion to the amount of carburetted air withdrawn from the apparatus. Gas from the carburettor e passes webs d to a mercurysealed bell b, and issues therefrom to the outlet pipe b through peripheral slots, which are more or less unsealed by the pressure of the gas. The bell is connected by links c' mounted on a fixed pivot c to a vertically - movable tube c having a hole c , through which petrol passes to the carburettor e by way of a fixed tube e when the bell b rises. The petrol is supplied from a float chamber g and rests on mercury d.
Abstract:
Systems and methods of processing expense receipts are provided. Images of expense receipts are received from a user device. The images are processed to obtain receipt information. A list of user expenses is generated based on the receipt information.
Abstract:
Various methods for visual search stability are provided. One example method includes determining a plurality of image matching distances for a captured object depicted in a video frame, where each image matching distance being indicative of a quality of a match between the captured object and a respective object match result. The example method further includes including, in a candidate pool, an indication of the object match results having image matching distances in a candidate region, discarding the object match results having image matching distances in a non-candidate region, and analyzing the object match results with image matching distances in a potential candidate region to include, in the candidate pool, indications of select object match results with image matching distances in the potential candidate region. Similar and related example methods and example apparatuses are also provided.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a composite material comprising more than 50 wt% filler and resin comprising proteinous material that contains proteins or polypeptides, which are cross-linkable by enzymes, and enzymes suitable for said crosslinking. The composite material is very useful for making foundry moulds or wood panels.
Abstract:
A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided for visually searching feature sets that are organized in a grid-like manner. As such, a feature set associated with a location-based grid area may be received. The location-based grid area may also be associated with the location of a device. After receiving query image features, a visual search may be performed by comparing the query image features with the feature set. The search results are then returned. By conducting the visual search within a feature set that is selected based upon the location of the device, the efficiency of the search can be enhanced and the search may potentially be performed by the device, such as a mobile device, itself.
