Abstract:
A telescopic umbrella, such as a sunshade, that includes a lower upright stand pipe and a telescopic pipe arranged in a displaceable and arrestable manner therein. The telescopic umbrella also includes a canopy articulated on the telescopic pipe, it being possible for the canopy to be opened and closed by means of a sheathed cable or Bowden control running within the telescopic pipe and controlled by a control device. The control device is attached to the telescopic pipe so that the opening/closing movement of the umbrella canopy is uncoupled from the telescopic mechanism of the umbrella.
Abstract:
A canopy, particularly a pavilion, a pergola, a tent or an awning, having a roof, a support structure for the roof and an illumination device associated with the support structure, is characterized, with regard to the object of achieving reliable operation of the apparatus, a particularly appealing visual impression and the greatest possible protection for the illumination device, in that the illumination device is associated with the support structure essentially integrally.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an umbrella, in particular a hand-held umbrella, free-standing umbrella, or offset hanging umbrella for protection against the rain, or for use as a sunshade. Said umbrella comprises a canopy, a supporting construction for said canopy and an illumination unit that is allocated to the supporting construction. An aim of the invention is to provide the greatest possible protection for the illumination unit, whilst giving the umbrella a particularly aesthetic appearance. To achieve this, the invention is characterized in that the illumination unit of the supporting construction is essentially integrated into the umbrella.

The invention relates to an umbrella, in particular a hand-held umbrella, fr ee- standing umbrella, or traffic light visor for protection against the rain, o r for use as a sunshade. Said umbrella comprises a canopy (1), a supporting construction (2) for said canopy (1) and an illumination unit (3) that is allocated to the supporting construction (2). The aim of the invention is to provide the greatest possible protection for the illumination unit (3), whil st giving the umbrella a particularly aesthetic appearance. To achieve this, th e invention is characterised in that the illumination unit (3) of the supporti ng construction (2) is essentially integrated into the umbrella.

Abstract:
In a method for simulating temperature and electrical characteristics within an circuit, a temperature of at least one volume within the circuit as a function of a resistance within the at least one volume is repeatedly calculated and the resistance as a function of the temperature is repeatedly calculated until the temperature is within a predetermined tolerance of a previous temperature result and until the resistance is within a predetermined tolerance of a previous resistance result. Once the temperature is within a predetermined tolerance of the previous temperature result and the resistance is within a predetermined tolerance of the previous resistance, then an output indicative of the temperature is generated.
