[Effect] It is excellent in the inhibition of acyl-CoA-cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) and is useful for treating or preventing arteriosclerosis.

In an acoustic sensor (11), a vibrating membrane (22) and a fixed membrane (23) are formed on the upper face of a semiconductor substrate, and an acoustic wave is detected by the change of capacitance between a vibration electrode (22a) of the vibrating membrane (22) and a fixed electrode (23a) of the fixed membrane (23). The fixed membrane(23) is provided with a plurality of sound holes (32) for delivering the acoustic wave from the outside to the vibrating membrane (22), and the fixed electrode (23a) is formed so that the boundary of the edge portion (40) does not intersect the sound holes (32).

The orientation of pigments (11) when a paint (12) is applied is set, and the orientation of the pigments (11) at time (t) at which a predetermined period of time has elapsed from when the paint is applied is calculated on the basis of a shrinkage rate gradient of the paint (12) in a thickness direction of a coating in the process of drying the paint. Thus, by assuming the state where the pigments (11) are dispersed in the paint (12) as the state where spheroids are present in viscous fluid, and applying the motion model in which the spheroids present in the fluid rotate by a difference in velocity of flow of the fluid, the orientation of the pigments (11) depending on the characteristic of a paint and a painting condition is estimated.
