A novel plant growth-promoting agent and a plant growth-promoting method using the same are provided. The plant growth-promoting agent contains a lactic acid bacterium having a plant growth-promoting action. Also, in the plant growth-promoting method, a seed, a plant body and/or a soil is treated with a lactic acid bacterium having a plant growth-promoting action. Lactobacillus plantarum strain FERM BP-21501 is suitable as the lactic acid bacterium having a plant growth-promoting action.

A lithotriptor is disclosed, which comprises an outer slender tube having an outside diameter small enough to be inserted into the organ growing a stone therein and an inner member disposed inside the outer slender tube. The inner member or the outer slender member incorporates therein an explosive layer or a gas-generating layer, ignition means for igniting the explosive layer or the gas-generating layer, and a closing member for preventing rearward advance of the gas evolved during the explosion of the explosive layer or the gas-generating layer. By the blasting of the explosive layer or the gas-generating layer, the outer slender tube or the inner member is caused to collide with the stone and crush it.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tea tree net (2) with which a user can satisfactorily simplify an operation of directly covering a tea tree row (22) planted along a ridge (20) with the tea tree net and fixing the same, and to provide an enough easy method of directly covering a row of tee trees planted along a ridge with the tea tree net (2) and fixing the same.SOLUTION: Fixing rope insertion means (10) into which a fixing rope (18) can be inserted are disposed intermittently with space in a longitudinal direction on each longitudinal both side edge part on the reverse side of a tea tree net (2). Then, the fixing rope is inserted into the fixing rope insertion means (10) in a proper way, and the fixing rope is fixed to the ground in a proper way.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a new winding and spreading apparatus capable of efficiently and entirely winding a covering material without requiring an assistant for winding the covering material smoothly, for example, when winding the covering material such as cheesecloth covering a tea ridge.SOLUTION: A winding and spreading apparatus 1 includes a winding shaft 34 for winding a covering material S, and a winding delivery machine frame 31 for peeling the covering material S from above an object to be covered and supporting a plurality of guides 35 for guiding the peeled covering material S toward the winding shaft 34. A leading end guide 35F provided on the tip side of the winding advance direction among the guides 35 is provided so as to receive the covering material S spreading on the object to be covered in a scooping state, at least during winding operation.
