Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a reliable and inexpensive sewing machine by pulling out a metallic piece rather than mechanically working a solid block by considering the mutually complicated shape of a slide way. CONSTITUTION: A first driving mechanism 22 has a driving shaft 3 and a driving device 8 and the opposite end parts of the two are kinematically connected to the shaft 3 by two connecting rods and a lever transmission. One of them demarcates a first moving orbit in a direction parallel with the supporting surface of a cloth and the other demarcates a second moving orbit in a direction vertical to this surface. An adjuster used therefore is provided with a slide way 20 in the shape of a circular arc in a center of the orbit plotted by a link 12 between the connecting rods of mechanism 22. The slide way 20 is mounted in the state of being freely rockable around the shaft 3 passing through an orbit and a tracer means is engaged with the slide way 20 and integrated with the shaft 3.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a light and simple sewing machine structure by disposing a motor near a needlebar, attaching a support to the main body of motor and forming a unit for which the needlebar, bearing, support thereto, connecting member and motor are removably integrated. CONSTITUTION: A needlebar 1 is slidingly mounted on two bearings 12 and 13, each bearing has spherical external shape, the first bearing is engaged with the hole of complementary shape provided on a fixed support 14, and the second bearing is engaged with the similar hole provided on a lever 15. One end of the lever 15 is pivoted so as to be turned with a pin 16 mounted on the second support 14* as a center, and the upper surface of the other end of the lever 15 becomes a sector 17 equipped with teeth having a curvature radius having a center on the pin 16. Both the supports 14 and 14* are fixed on the main body of a stepping motor for controlling the turn of the lever 15 by a pinion 19 engaged with a toothed sector 17, and these several members are grouped into independent detachable unit with integrated motor 18.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve the rationality of the manufacture and assembling of kinds of elements incorporating the lower arm of a sewing machine. CONSTITUTION: This sewing machine is provided with a frame body formed of the rigid U-shaped frame 2 of a shell 1a. A bobbin 16, bobbin driving mechanism 17, 19, 10 and a material feeding drive mechanism are housed and supported in a case 6 being an intermediate supporter. The case 6 is fixed to a step motor 11 controlling the feeding width and direction of material to be sewn. The motor 11 is fixed to the frame 2 by a sleeve 23 engaged with the inside of the lower arm of the frame 2.
