    Abstract: An integral in-line dripper (10) to be used bonded to the internal surface (14) of an irrigation pipe (12). The dripper (10) has an inlet facing the inside of the pipe (12) and an outlet (27) connected to an exit opening in the pipe wall. The dripper (10) has a flattened shape defined between a first surface (16) with an open meandering channel (22) formed therein, the channel's inlet being connected to the dripper's inlet, and a second surface (18) opposite the first surface (16). The topography of the first surface (16) is so designed that the dripper (10) can be bonded to the internal surface (14) of the pipe (12) in any orientation about a radius of the pipe (12) passing through the first (16) and the second surface (18), so as to form a flow-restriction labyrinth connected to the outlet of the dripper (10).

    Abstract: An irrigation pipe with a plurality of connector elements adapted for attachment of lateral branches thereto, where the connector elements are integrally fitted to the pipe's wall during the manufacture. Connector elements may be fitted open and be adapted for closing after manufacture if not intended for use, or may be fitted closed and be adapted for opening after manufacture to enable the attachment. A method of production of such irrigation pipe from a strip of flexible weldable or bondable material includes fitting integrally the connector elements to predetermined locations on the strip, with or without punching the strip; bending or twisting the strip so as to juxtapose or overlap lateral edges thereof; and welding or bonding integrally the edges so as to obtain a closed pipe section.

    Abstract: A low-pressure drip irrigation system, comprising: a distribution pipe (20) made of collapsible sleeve with a plurality of holes (40) in the walls thereof; a plurality of branch tubes (22) equipped with low-pressure drip emitters; and a plurality of connectors (21), connecting the branch tubes (22) to the holes of the distribution pipe (20). The sleeve is made of opaque and reflective material that prevents the growth of algae and heating. The holes (40) may be prefabricated or made in the field by a hand-held tool (80). The connectors (21) have a base part with two protruding collars (50, 54) and a narrow neck therebetween, for mounting in the holes with the first collar (50) inside the distribution pipe (20). The second collar (54) may be formed as a separate threaded member. The base part of the connector may be enclosed in a pliable sleeve providing tight connection to the hole's edges. A method for assembly of the drip irrigation system includes deploying of the distribution pipe (20) in the field, filling the pipe with water, cutting holes in the pipe by means of the hand-held tool (80), and inserting the connectors (21) into the holes.

The dripper comprises an outwardly facing surface adapted for the bonding, an outlet area associated with the surface, and at least one bulge near the outlet area.
