Abstract:
The invention concerns a linerless self-adhesive material obtained starting from a self-adhesive material with a liner, by means of a process that comprises the delamination of the liner from a self-adhesive layer, activation of the liner or self-adhesive layer, transferral of the liner over the self-adhesive layer and re-lamination of the two components so as to produce the linerless self-adhesive material. The liner or the self-adhesive layer is coated with a thermo-adhesive that allows for permanent lamination of the liner located on the self-adhesive layer.

Abstract:
A self-adhesive label includes a bilayer having at least one layer of paper coupled to at least one polymeric film, wherein the polymeric film is coated, on the surface opposite to the surface of coupling to the at least one paper layer, with a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA). The adhesive has “wash-off” properties such as to cause the label to peel off from a surface by washing with a 1.0%-2.0% NaOH solution at 65-75° C. Alternatively, the adhesive has a force lower than the shrink force of the polymeric film. The label also includes an intermediate layer placed between the polymeric film and the PSA adhesive, capable of promoting the adhesion of the PSA adhesive to the polymeric film, and/or the polymeric film is treated with a corona, flame treatment or plasma treatment.
Abstract:
self-adhesive linerless label for labelling containers, preferably made of PET, the label being particularly adapted to be removed from the container during recycling operations. The label derives from a linerless self-adhesive material that includes a liner made of plastic material having a density greater than 0.8 g/cm3, preferably between 0.9 g/cm3 and 1.5 g/cm3, more preferably between 1 and 1.4 g/cm3 at 25° C. The material is preferably PET or PP, The linerless self-adhesive material also includes a self-adhesive film having a polymeric material with a density of less than 0.9 g/cm3 at 25° C., preferably between 0.6 g/cm3 and 0.9 g/cm3, more preferably between 0.7 and 0.8 g/cm3 at 25° C. The liner and the self-adhesive material are in permanent contact by a thermo-adhesive.

The invention relates to a self-adhesive linerless label for labelling containers, preferably made of PET, the label being particularly adapted to be removed from the container during recycling operations. The label derives from a linerless self-adhesive material that comprises a liner made of plastic material having a density greater than 0.8 g/cm3, preferably between 0.9 g/cm3 and 1.5 g/cm3, more preferably between 1 and 1.4 g/cm3 at 25°C. Said material is preferably PET or PP. The linerless self-adhesive material also comprises a self-adhesive film comprising a polymeric material with a density of less than 0.9 g/cm3 at 25°C, preferably comprised between 0.6 g/cm3 and 0.9 g/cm3, more preferably between 0.7 and 0.8 g/cm3 at 25°C. The liner and the self-adhesive material are in permanent contact by means of a thermo-adhesive.
