    Abstract: A porous polymer membrane and a method for preparing the same are provided. The porous polymer membrane comprises a carbon material dispersed therein. The method comprises steps of: preparing a first polymer solution comprising a first polymer, a first carbon material, a first pore-forming agent and a first solvent; applying the first polymer solution to a polymeric substrate; and removing the first pore-forming agent and the first solvent from the first polymer solution so as to obtain a first polymeric layer on the polymeric substrate. A polymer composite electrolyte comprising the porous polymer membrane is provided. A battery comprising the polymer composite electrolyte and a method for preparing the same are also provided.
