Abstract:
A rinse aid composition and methods of making and using the same. A rinse aid composition may generally include an effective amount of a sheeting agent component, and an effective amount of a defoamer component. The sheeting agent component may include one or more alclhol ethoxylate compounds that include an alkyl group that includes 12 or fewer carbon atoms. The defoamer component may include an ethylene oxide containing surfactant configured for reducing the stability of foam that may be created by the one or more alcohol ethoxylate compounds of the sheeting agent in an aqueous solution.
Abstract:
The washing chamber includes a housing, a washing chamber interior for spray application of wash water and rinse water, and a water vapor vent for removal of water vapor from the washing chamber interior. The water holding tank is provided for holding wash water and rinse water from the washing chamber. The water vapor recovery line extends from the water vapor vent to an air and liquid water discharge. The water vapor recovery line comprises a condensing region for condensing water vapor present in the condensing region. A method for operating a dishwashing machine is provided.
Abstract:
A method of treating textiles is disclosed. In an embodiment the method involves applying a liquid combination comprising ethoxylated starch, silicon dioxide, and water to damp textiles, allowing the liquid combination to contact the textiles for a discrete amount of time before draining excess liquid from the textiles, and pressing the textiles using heat. The method of the invention reduces sticking and gumming of the starch on a pressing device such as an iron.

Abstract:
The present invention provides compositions and methods to reduce smoking and/or haze during a heated laundry process. The compositions include a smoke reducing surfactant package and a detersive surfactant containing an amount of free alcohol. The smoke reducing surfactant package includes an anionic surfactant, an amphoteric surfactant or mixtures thereof. The surfactants are selected such that the amount of smoke or haze produced is reduced and or eliminated when garments contacted with the compositions containing the surfactants are heated to at least about 250°F. Methods of using the compositions are also provided.
Abstract:
Dispensable tablet, container and system for dispensing an active ingredient for a warewashing machine using a unit dose of the active ingredient for an operation of a warewashing machine. A plurality of dispensable tablets each contains an amount of the active ingredient equal to the unit dose. A container holds the plurality of dispensable tablets, each of the dispensable tablets containing the active ingredient, N of the plurality of dispensable tablets collectively containing an amount of the active ingredient equaling the unit dose, where N is an integer greater than zero and not more than ten. A dispenser, adapted to receive the dispensable tablets from the container and to be operably coupled to the warewashing machine, dispenses N of the plurality of dispensable tablets for the operation of the warewashing machine. The system prevents moisture from the warewashing machine from affecting the plurality of dispensable tablets being held in the container.

Abstract:
Dispensable tablet, container and system for dispensing an active ingredient for a warewashing machine using a unit dose of the active ingredient for an operation of a warewashing machine. A plurality of dispensable tablets (10) each contains an amount of the active ingredient equal to the unit dose. A container (16) holds the plurality of dispensable tablets (10), each of the dispensable tablets (10) containing the active ingredient, N of the plurality of dispensable tablets (10) collectively containing an amount of the active ingredient equaling the unit dose, where N is an integer greater than zero and not more than ten. A dispenser (26), adapted to receive the dispensable tablets (10) from the container (16) and to be operably coupled to the warewashing machine, dispenses N of the plurality of dispensable tablets (10) for the operation of the warewashing machine. The system prevents moisture from the warewashing machine from affecting the plurality of dispensable tablets (10) being held in the container (16).
