Abstract:
A method, system, apparatus, and/or device for an individual to self-govern trade requests. The method, system, apparatus, and/or device may include: generating a trade rules account for a user based on trade rules account information received from an input device; defining a set of trade rules for one or more trade requests generated by the input device; receiving a user input indicating a trade rule of the set of trade rules associated with the trade rule account; defining a period of time that the trade rule is enforced on the one or more trade requests; receiving a trade request; determining whether the trade request follows the trade rule; and in response to the trade request complying with the trade rule, sending a message to a second processing device that includes details of the trade request.
Abstract:
The invention provides a novel class of scaffold-based labeled polymerase enzyme substrates. The polymerase enzyme substrates have a multivalent core or scaffold to which is attached fluorescent dye moieties and nucleoside phosphate moities. The polymerase enzyme substrates have multiple fluorescent dye moities and/or multiple nucleoside phosphate moieties. Preferred multivalent cores comprise trifunctional six membered aromatic moities. The invention also provides for sequencing methods and kits with scaffold-based labeled polymerase enzyme substrates.

Abstract:
A gas flow comparator comprises a gas control mounted on a gas tube to set a gas flow or pressure of a gas passing thorough the gas tube. A principal flow splitter comprises an inlet port connected to the gas tube. First and second flow restrictors are connected to the principal flow splitter. A pair of secondary flow splitters are each connected to a restrictor outlet of a flow restrictor. A differential pressure gauge is connected to the secondary flow splitters. A pair of nozzle holders are connected to the secondary flow splitters and are capable of being connected to first and second nozzles. In operation, the pressure differential gauge registers a pressure differential proportional to a variation in the passage of gas through the first and second nozzles.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns an electronic forensic tool for conducting electronic discovery and computer forensic analysis. The present invention allows a non-technical person such as a non-forensic expert to conduct electronic discovery and thereby obviate the need for an expert in many situations. The present invention allows for electronic discovery in a forensically sound manner. The present invention also concerns a business method for electronic discovery involving a software program and a command server for generating expanded functionality. The client software may be distributed at minimal or no cost, preferably as a CD. Using the client software, a user boots a target machine to determine whether a target machine contains data of interest. The client software will, however, only display limited data such as file information, date, last modified, and file size. To access and examine the actual underlying data, the user must obtain additional functionality, e.g. by purchasing a command block from the control server. The additional functionality will allow the client program to extract the data of interest or the entire contents of the target machine to an external device for further analysis.
Abstract:
A computer readable medium including executable instructions to analyze radio frequency (RF) tag information includes executable instruction to access cross-enterprise RF tag information, identify a product transition based upon the cross-enterprise RF tag information, and define a new product path based upon the product transition, where the new product path defines product pedigree information. Additional executable instructions authenticate a user, secure product information, supply product pedigree information corresponding to the product information, and verify the pedigree of the product based upon the product pedigree information.
Abstract:
Fluidic methods and devices for conducting parallel chemical reactions are disclosed. The methods are based on the use of in situ photogenerated reagents such as photogenerated acids, photogenerated bases, or any other suitable chemical compounds that produce active reagents upon light radiation. The present invention describes devices and methods for performing a large number of parallel chemical reactions without the use of a large number of valves, pumps, and other complicated fluidic components. The present invention provides microfluidic devices that contain a plurality of microscopic vessels for carrying out discrete chemical reactions. Other applications may include the preparation of microarrays of DNA and RNA oligonucleotides, peptides, oligosacchrides, phospholipids and other biopolymers on a substrate surface for assessing gene sequence information, screening for biological and chemical activities, identifying intermolecular complex formation, and determining structural features of molecular complexes.
Abstract:
The invention provides a novel class of cyanine dyes that are functionalized with sulfonic acid groups and a linker moiety that facilitates their conjugation to other species and substituent groups which increase the water-solubility, and optimize the optical properties of the dyes. Also provided are conjugates of the dyes, methods of using the dyes and their conjugates and kits including the dyes and their conjugates.
Abstract:
Techniques of the present invention are directed to distribution of deposition gases onto a substrate. In one embodiment, a gas distributor (200) for use in a processing chamber (813) is provided. The gas distributor includes a body having a gas deflecting surface (202) and a gas distributor face (204). The gas deflecting surface defines a cleaning gas pathway. The gas distributor face is disposed on an opposite side of the body from the gas deflecting surface and faces toward a substrate support member (818). The gas distributor face includes a raised step (212) and at least one set of apertures (210) through the raised step. The at least one set of apertures are adapted to distribute a deposition gas over a substrate (817) positioned on the substrate support member.
