Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily protect the signal face of an optical recording medium without using a plastic tray or case at a low cost and to easily record or correct the information on a label face. SOLUTION: The signal face (A) of the optical recording medium is protected by adhering a self pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet 5 displaying the content of the information of the medium to the signal face (A). Then the self pressure- sensitive adhesive sheet 5 is removed and again adhered to the label face (B) to display the content of the information.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the inside of a disk storing member stored in a storing portion visually recognizable from the external side of a case body. SOLUTION: A packaging case is composed of a case storing portion 26 in which a plurality of disk cases 2 having light-transmittable principal surfaces are stored in a state superposed in the direction of the thickness thereof, and a case body 21 having an inserting/withdrawing opening 28 for inserting the disk cases into and withdrawing them from the case storing portion 26. Further, the packaging case has a lid 29 which is provided to the case body 21 and which closes the inserting/withdrawing opening 28. Furthermore, the packaging case includes a support stand 22 provided on a bottom face 25 in the case storing portion 26 of the case body 21 and having support protrusions 34 which support the disk cases 2 in such a manner that part of an outer circumference of the principal surface of each disk case 2 stored in the case storing portion 26 is allowed to protrude so as to be directed outward with respect to other disk cases 2. The lid 29 is provided with a window 31 for ascertainment, which enables the inside of the case storing portion 26 to be visually recognized from the external side of the case body 21.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording medium which makes data recording by having a recording film with guide grooves formed, wherein information such as rotation control information and address information is stably recorded and reproduced without performing information recording using wobble so as not to be erroneously recognized to be a pirated disk by a drive unit with a pirated version determination mechanism. SOLUTION: The guide grooves are formed without meandering, their widths are periodically modulated, and data encrypted by marks formed on a recording film along the guide grooves is recorded. Since information recorded by periodical width modulation of the guide grooves is detected by using a bandpass filter, the rotation control information and the address information are stably reproduced. Since the guide grooves are formed without meandering, encrypted and recorded contents are reproduced even in a drive unit with a pirated version determination mechanism like a ROM disk. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve searchability of stored optical disks. SOLUTION: A case main body 106 with a tray storing part for storing a plurality of disk trays stacked in the thickness direction and an opening 107 for inserting/removing the disk trays to/form this tray storing part and a lid body 108 which for closing/opening the opening 107 of this case main body 106 are provided. In addition, the case main body 106 has therein a step constituting part 111 for arranging the label displaying parts of the disk trays stacked in the tray storing part so as to form steps.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a packaging shape for an optical disk, to decrease manufacturing cost and to improve searchability. SOLUTION: A disk storing recessed part in which optical disks are stored, a holding part for holding central holes of the optical disks stored in this disk storing recessed part and a title displaying part 12 formed at a position adjoining the periphery of the surface and provided with a title label 11 displaying contents of information recorded in the optical disks.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily measure the available capacity and/or empty capacity of an optical disc. SOLUTION: The gage comprises an engaging part 82 engaged with a center hole of an optical disc and a capacity indicator for measuring the available capacity and/or the empty capacity of the optical disc, based on the position of a boundary between a recorded region and an unrecorded region of the optical disc, identified from the tone difference between them; the indicator has scale divisions 87 corresponding to the format of the optical disc in the radial direction of the optical disc.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and certainly hold a disk-shaped recording medium without directly touching the recording medium with a fingertip or the like and to prevent the damage of the recording surface of the recording medium. SOLUTION: A disk holding apparatus is equipped with the locking part 51 locked with the center hole 3 of an optical disk 2, the holding member 52 for holding the optical disk 2 locked with the locking part 51 and a release member 53 having a release piece 68 brought into contact with the holding region 4 on the outer peripheral side of the center hole 3 of the optical disk 2 and moving the optical disk 2 in a direction a1 releasing the locking state of the locking part 51 and the optical disk 2.

Abstract:
A recording capacity gauge for measuring the used capacity value and/or the vacant capacity value of a recording area of an optical disc, such as an optical disc or a magneto-optical disc, is disclosed. The recording capacity gauge includes an engagement unit engaged in a center opening of an optical disc, and a capacity display unit on which graduations corresponding to the format of an optical disc are demonstrated for extending along the radius of the optical disc. The capacity display unit allows for measurement of a used capacity value and/or a vacant capacity value of the optical disc based on a boundary position of the color tone difference between a recorded area and a non-recorded area of the optical disc. A disc tray for accommodating an optical disc is also disclosed.
