Abstract: PURPOSE: A bio-chip scanner and a bio-chip scanning method by the same are provided to secure the optimum resolving power by controlling the focal point according to wavelength. CONSTITUTION: A bio-chip scanner comprises a light source unit(110), a light guide unit(120), a scanning unit(130), and a detection unit(140). The light source unit includes a convex lens and generates converging lasers of at least two different wavelengths. The light guide unit guides the lasers generated by the light source unit. The scanning unit irradiates the guided lasers onto a bio-chip. The detection unit detects the lasers reflected off the scanning unit.
