Abstract: A cosmetic composition comprising atelocollagen is provided to inhibit immune response in skin permeation, improve skin permeability by treating atelocollagen with succinate anhydride, increase antibacterial effects and skin absorption by weak acidification of collagen, and promote growth of fibers and cells and cell mobility, so that the composition is useful for improving skin wrinkles. A cosmetic composition for improving skin wrinkles comprises 0.4-4 wt.% of atelocollagen, 0.4-4 wt.% of hyaluronic acid, 0.04-0.4 wt.% of adenosine, 0.0002-0.002 wt.% of lysine, and 91.6-99.15 wt.% of purified water. A method for preparing the anti-wrinkle cosmetic composition comprises the steps of: adding atelocollagen treated with succinate anhydride, adenosine and purified water into 0.5% of hyaluronic acid solution and stirring the mixture at 5 deg. C; regulating pH of the solution to 6.1 by using caustic soda to dissolve completely the collagen; adding 0.07g of lysine into the collagen solution and stirring the mixture; and compensating evaporated water by adding purified water and regulating pH of the solution to 6.1.
