Abstract: PURPOSE: A spotting pin for a microarray of biological samples is provided, to inhibit the damage of a board and the end of the pin due to their contact, and significantly increasing the amount of biological samples sucked. CONSTITUTION: The hollow typed spotting pin for a microarray of biological samples comprises a capillary part forming a tapered end and a reservoir part having larger inner diameter than the capillary part and containing a sample solution, wherein the inner diameter ratio of the capillary part to the reservoir part is 1:0.033 to 1:0.2; the inner diameters of the capillary part and the reservoir part are 0.01 to 0.5 mm and 0.5 to 3 mm, respectively; and the spotting pin is made from glass, soda line, or borosilicate glass.
