Abstract: A link recovery method for hierarchical routing on LoWPAN(Low Power Wireless Personal Area Networks) is provided to ensure connection state of a network by generating a bypass if route disconnection is generated. A first node finds a route disconnection between the first node and a parent node(S30). The first node requests a bypass route to a second node if the first node finds the route disconnection between the first node and the parent node(S40). The second node checks a route to a first common ancestral node with the first node(S50). If the route into the first common ancestral node is effective, bypass route generation is informed to the first node(S60).
