Abstract: A method and an apparatus for analyzing a signal pattern of a sensor array are provided to convert multi-dimensional values of multi-channels inputted from the sensor array into successive data and to optimize modeling of the sensed signal patterns by taking properties of the converted data. A method for analyzing a signal pattern of a sensor array including more than one gas sensor comprises the steps of: converting the multi-dimensional data of multi-channels outputted from the sensor array into successive data, wherein the data is about more than one reference gas; producing an angle difference based state transition model using the converted data(S1000~S1004); and if data about the new gas is required to be outputted from the sensor array, analyzing the new gas using the angle difference based state transition model(S1006~S1012).
