Abstract: A method for scanning a transmission energy level according to the distance between nodes and a recording medium storing the same are provided to perform routing with the least transmission energy of a network by performing communication through only an amount of energy suitable for the distance between nodes. A coordinator starts the first stage of scanning(310). The coordinator checks whether there is a response to the scanning(320). When an association request is received within a scan response standby time in response to the scanning, the coordinator gives an ID to a node which has responded by using the same energy level, adds information on the node to an energy level table, and performs responding to the association request(330). The coordinator requests a router that appears first in its energy level table to perform the second stage of scanning in the similar manner as that of the coordinator(340).

Abstract: An apparatus for generating a virtual tuple and a method thereof are provided to make the virtual tuple by extracting the original tuple which satisfies a predetermined condition corresponding to a reference attribute value, and then performing a virtual selection operation by using the original tuple.
