Abstract: 본 발명은 콩으로부터 루테인을 다량 수득하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 콩의 종실을 발아시키는 단계, 상기 발아된 콩(콩나물)을 건조하고 분쇄하여 유기용제에 침지하고 여과시킨 여액을 감압 농축하여 발아 콩(콩나물) 추출물을 얻는 단계 및, 상기 발아 콩(콩나물) 추출물로부터 루테인을 분리 정제하는 단계를 포함하여 이루어지는 방법에 의하여 종자 상태의 콩에 미량으로 함유된 루테인을 간단한 방법으로 다량 증가시켜 수득하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 의하면, 루테인의 새로운 원천으로서 콩을 제공할 수 있으며, 고도의 기술 수준에 의하거나 많은 자본 투여 또는 노력에 의하지 않고도 콩에 함유된 루테인의 함량을 현저히 증가시켜 수득할 수 있을 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An obtaining method of massive amount of lutein from beans is provided to germinate the beans before collecting the lutein for increasing the content of the lutein. CONSTITUTION: An obtaining method of massive amount of lutein from beans comprises the following steps: dipping the beans in water, and germinating the beans in the shade at 18-25 deg C in the humidity of 50-100% using an intermittent water sprinkling method; drying and crushing the germinated beans, dipping the crushed beans in an organic solvent, and filtering the mixture before decompress-concentrating the obtained filtrate to obtain a germinated bean extract; and separating and refining the lutein from the germinated bean extract. The organic solvent is acetone.
