Abstract:
PURPOSE: A novel herbicidal material, angelicin, isolated from Rumex crispus L. and a method for isolating the same are provided to ensure unique chemical structure and to develop novel herbicide. CONSTITUTION: An herbicide composition contains angelicin or agriculturally acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. Angelicin is isolated from Rumex crispus L. A method for isolating angelicin from Rumex crispus L. comprises: a step of extracting Rumex crispus L. with methanol; a step of dissolving methanol extract with ethyl acetate to obtain an ethyl acetate fraction; a step of obtaining a fraction(EC) of herbicidal activity from ethyl acetate fraction using dichloromethane-methanol solution; a step of obtaining a fraction(ECD) from the fraction(EC) using ethylacetate-dichloromethane-methanol solution; a step of obtaining a fraction(ECDA) from the fraction(ECD) using hexane-ethyl acetate-dichloromethane-methanol solution; and a step of identifying the structure of the fraction(ECDA).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A new weeding active material 3-hydroxy-9H-xanthene-9-circle which is separated from sicyos angulatus and a separation method thereof are provided to be used as parent compound for herbicide which attacks new mode of action by having different structure from conventional herbicides. CONSTITUTION: A new weeding active material 3-hydroxy-9H-xanthene-9-circle which is separated from sicyos angulatus is separated from Sicyos angulatus L. The herbicide composition contains new compound having herbicidal activity. A separating method of new compound having herbicidal efficacy which is separated from the Sicyos angulatus comprises next steps: a step of extracting leaves or stems of the Sicyos angulatus; a step of obtaining dichloromethane fractions by dissolving methanol extract of the Sicyos angulatus in dichloromethane; a step of obtaining MD fractions which has Rf value of 0.37-0.00; a step of obtaining MDC fractions which has Rf value of 0.17-0.00; and a step of obtaining MDCC fractions which has Rf value of 0.70.
