Abstract: A stilbene-based compound having hepatoprotective activity and a preparation method thereof are provided to maintain the shape, structure and physiological function of the liver, prevent liver disease, inhibit progress of the liver disease, and treat liver disease based on the natural restoration ability of the liver without side effects. A hepatoprotective composition comprises the stilbene-based compound represented by the formula(I), wherein the stilbene-based compound is isolated from the organic solvent extract of Morus bombycis koizumi root; and the organic solvent is C1-C6 alcohol such as methanol. The method for preparing 2,5'-dihydroxy-4,3'-di(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-trans-stilbene comprises the steps of: (a) extracting Morus bombycis koizumi with an organic solvent; and (b) separating 2,5'-dihydroxy-4,3'-di(beta-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-trans-stilbene from the extract of Morus bombycis koizumi by subjecting the extract to absorption chromatography using MCI gel and methanol and gel filtration chromatography.

Abstract: 본 발명은 간 보호활성이 있는 스틸벤계 화합물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 산뽕나무 뿌리의 메탄올 추출물에서 분리한 간보호 활성이 있는 2,5'-디히드록시-4,3'-디(β-D-글루코피라노실옥시)-트랜스-스틸벤에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 2,5'-디히드록시-4,3'-디(β-D-글루코피라노실옥시)-트랜스-스틸벤은 간을 보호하는 효과가 있으므로 본 발명의 2,5'-디히드록시-4,3'-디(β-D-글루코피라노실옥시)-트랜스-스틸벤은 간 보호용 조성물 및 식품 조성물의 제조에 사용할 수 있다.
