    Abstract: PURPOSE: 1-cysteine peroxiredoxin protein which functions as a molecular chaperone in oxidative stress condition is provided to control seed germination and plant growth. CONSTITUTION: 1-cysteine peroxiredoxin protein is derived from Brassica rapa. The protein promotes seed germination and plant growth through a functional change by peroxidation of an active cysteine residue in oxidative stress condition.
