    Abstract: PURPOSE: A catalyst for reducing oxidized mercury and a reduction method of the oxidized mercury using the same are provided to efficiently reduce the oxidized mercury by using a transition metal carried on a porous inorganic oxide carrier. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst for reducing oxidized mercury includes a transition metal as an oxidizing anode for reducing the oxidized mercury. The transition metal is one selected from a group including iron, copper, cobalt, nickel, manganese, the alloy of the same, and the mixture of the same. The standard reduction electric potential of the transition metal in water is less than 0.854V. The dissolution temperature of the transition metal is more than or equal to 1000 deg C. The transition metal is carried on a porous inorganic oxide carrier.     Abstract: PURPOSE: A catalyst for reduction of nitrogen oxide and oxidation of mercury in exhaust gas and a method for removing nitrogen oxide and mercury simultaneously using the catalyst is provided to a nitride oxidation reduction effect corresponding to the existing SCR catalyst and simultaneously remove the nitride oxidation and mercury. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst for reduction of nitrogen oxide and oxidation of mercury in exhaust gas removes a nitride oxide from an exhaust gas through selective catalytic reduction, and a transition metal halide is dipped on the surface of the catalyst. The selective reduction catalyst includes a vanadium pentroxide dipped on the titanium dioxide supporter. A method for removing nitrogen oxide and mercury simultaneously using the catalyst comprises the steps of: removing a nitride oxide from an exhaust gas by injecting a reduction material into a catalyst reaction container in which the transition metal halide is dipped on the selective oxidation catalyst and oxidizing mercury into an oxidation mercury by supplying a halogen nitrogen; and removing the oxide mercury.
