Abstract: An auxiliary apparatus for walking is provided to enable a user to feel comfortableness and naturalness in moving by controlling a motor according to a direction and strength of force applied to a handle, and to reduce a maintenance cost. An auxiliary apparatus for walking includes: a handle bar(121) installed on a handle to be slidable back and forth; front and rear force sensors(141,142) respectively installed on the front and rear sides of the handle bar, and outputting a detecting signal by measuring strength of the force applied by the handle bar; and a control part(150) receiving the signal of the sensors, and controlling a motor(130) so as to move in a direction that the force is applied by the handle bar and to increase a speed in proportion to the strength of the force.

Abstract: A stick for maintaining balance and absorbing shock is provided to protect a human body by absorbing shock given from the ground and storing the energy when an elderly or handicapped person walks. A stick for maintaining balance and absorbing shock includes a support bar(110), a contact plate(120) and three or more shock absorbing coupling unit(130). The support bar is gripped by a user to be supported by the ground. The contact plate is disposed on the lower side of the support bar, and comes into contact with the ground. The shock absorbing coupling unit is coupled to the lower end of the support bar, and is divided into three or more parts to face in an outer direction. When the shock absorbing coupling unit is compressed to absorb shock, it is restored by elastic force.
