    Abstract: A system and a method for authenticating a fingerprint by using wireless communication are provided to prevent alteration of fingerprint authentication data by strengthening data security in a wired/wireless communication section, and check data integrity of each transmission section by checking the alteration of the fingerprint authentication data in each transmission section unit. A user terminal(170) encodes fingerprint data generated by extracting feature of a user fingerprint. An AP(Access Point)(180) receives the fingerprint data by connecting to the user terminal through wireless communication and attaches a certifier to the received fingerprint data. An authentication server(190) generates an authentication result by comparing the fingerprint data including the certifier with a fingerprint stored in a database(194). The certifier is generated in the AP by using a random number generated in the authentication server. The authentication server verifies integrity of the fingerprint data attached with the certifier by using the certifier.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A common radio resource management apparatus for handover between heterogeneous networks, a local radio resource management apparatus for handover between heterogeneous networks, and a handover method by managing common radio resource management over a heterogeneous network environment are provided to efficiently supply the services of various service qualities to a mobile terminal by supporting the handover between heterogeneous networks through integrated wireless resource management. CONSTITUTION: A network state information management unit(110) receives network state information non-dependent on a network from heterogeneous networks. A mobile terminal information management unit(120) receives mobile terminal information non-dependent on the network from each network of heterogeneous networks. Based on the state information of the nondependent network and the information of the non-dependent mobile terminal, a network selection unit(130) selects the network for handover.
