Abstract: An electrode for a lithium secondary battery includes anode active materials, which include powder of lithium-vanadium oxide, a carbon-based conductive material, and a binder, and a layer of diamond-like carbon (DLC), which covers the surface of the active materials. Therefore, the layer of DLC is capable of suppressing the crack on the surface of the electrode. In addition, when the electrode including the layer of DLC is applied to a secondary battery, the electrode is prevented from the reaction with an electrolyte, so as to suppress reaction products, and the lithium secondary battery is capable of obtaining stabilized cycle characteristics.

Abstract: 리튬바나듐산화물을대량생산할수 있는방법을제공한다. 리튬바나듐산화물제조방법에있어서, 수산화리튬(LiOH·H2O)과산화바나듐(V2O5) 또는수산화리튬과메타바나듐산암모늄(NH4VO3)을에탄올용매를이용하여상온에서볼밀공정을통하여혼합하여혼합물을형성한다. 상기혼합물을수평로내에장입하여 600℃이하의불활성가스분위기에서고체상반응공정을수행하여예비리튬산화물을형성한다. 이후, 상기예비리튬산화물에대하여크롬을이용하는크롬코팅공정을수행한다.
