Abstract: PURPOSE: A contents recommendation method and a system thereof are provided to recommend contents by reflecting user an input keyword, similarity between contents and status of a social network to the contents. CONSTITUTION: The extracting unit extracts at least one contents publishing information including the keyword. An analysis unit (420) deducts similarity between the keyword and the contents by using contents publishing information. The analysis unit deducts significance of a user distributing the contents by using user profile information corresponding to the contents publishing information. A recommending unit (430) calculates rank of the extracted contents by using the similarity and the significance of the user.
