Abstract: PURPOSE: A production method of a super-hydrophobic of super-hydrophilic material is provided to form a metal oxide layer having a micro-nano layered structure on the surface of metal before treating the metal oxide layer by fluorination to obtain the super-hydrophobic of super-hydrophilic material with a simple and economic process. CONSTITUTION: A production method of a super-hydrophobic of super-hydrophilic material comprises the following steps: dipping a metal substrate in an alkali water solution; heating the alkali water solution with the metal substrate to form a metal oxide layer having a micro-nano layered structure; and fluorinating the metal oxide layer. The heating process is conducted at 60-90°C for 20-72 hours. The fluorination process includes a step of inserting the metal substrate with the metal oxide layer into a fluoride-containing compound. The super-hydrophobic of super-hydrophilic material contains the metal substrate, the metal oxide layer, and the fluoride-containing compound. The contact angle of the super-hydrophobic of super-hydrophilic material against water and oil is greater than 150°.
