    Abstract: PURPOSE: A carbon nano tube transistor-base gas sensor for sensing an organic phosphorus compound gas and a manufacturing method thereof provide high sensitivity and high selectivity with respect to each sensing object gas according to applied cognitive material and obtain a subminiature, a low power, and a high-sensitivity gas sensor by using based on a carbon nano tube. CONSTITUTION: A carbon nano tube transistor-base gas sensor for sensing an organic phosphorus compound gas comprises a molecule recognizer. The molecule recognizer is specially joined to an organic phosphorus compound gas in one end of an alkane main chain. A cognitive material having a thiol group or a cyano group in the other end of the alkane main chain is fixed to a gold electrode through the thiol group or the cyano group.
